We find ourselves in a mansion house that was forgotten many moons ago, its interior now more like a museum. Paperwork has sat on surfaces for nearly 70 years. Time continued outside of its walls, but there has only been silence within.

I want to know, as well! The craftsmanship put in the painting is impressive, like it was executed by a good student of a renowned school. Most of the time, you see stenciled ceiilings as a budget esthetic solution, but these feature hand painted frescoes and scenic medallions...

Love the smell of some old places, the wood, the kitchen spices,sometimes the bathrooms cologne, and bedrooms cabinets,dressers. One time my family took for a vacation to Alaska, and when we came back, the smell of the curtains to the hard wood floors to my fancy bedspread my mom 🧵 when I was around 9 years old. So many different things that could be taken for granted.and being allergic to cigarettes, is a lot of suffering.
