Thanks for the back history and pictures of before and after I end up trying to locate them myself for any videos I watch. The catalog showed caskets not coffins. Caskets are rectangular shaped while coffins taper at the ends to follow the outline of the body. Coffins are more common now in Europe and are caged "toepinchers."Coffins are usually the ones in horror movies. I have one in my living room. It was used to ship a lady to America from Europe. She no longer occupies it.

How many bodies were taken care of on regular basis there each day ? I mean, man, that's one big funeral home. The one I work for is tiny in comparison.

The man that speaks at the beginning of the video was that the owner or the funeral director of this now abandoned funeral home? Does anyone know what's of him now? Did he already passed away? That recording where the man speaks at the beginning seems like it was from the 70s or early 80s, it looks too outdated or old to have been from the 90s.

You NEED to start wearing some PPE! There can be ALL KINDS of diseases in these abandoned places (needles, etc). Picking up objects barehanded is NOT a good idea. Seriously, at least look at HAZWOPER training as it could save your life. This funeral home held funerals for some of my great uncles and aunts.....

OMG Michael Carr here was only in his late 40s yet he looks like a 70 year old man, damm people back then did allow themselves to age quick, luckily today a 50 year old can easily look like a 30 something old, back in these old days by the time you reached your mid 40s or 50s you looked pretty aged.

Hopefully after all this time, your cinematography has improved. Far too jerky...smooth pans. Secondly, it's great you wore a respirator but the asbestos fibers got on your clothes. Only takes one microscopic fiber to get asbestosis. Problem is it has a latency period of 40 years. By the time they catch it? It's already destroyed lung tissue and there's no turning back. Be safe boys..
