When people get old and they need help, but either don't know who to ask to help them, or no one is willing to help them then you will get this happening. Doesn't have to be very old as dementia can happen in much younger people, or they could be terminally ill, and in some cases help is hard to find. Mental health is at the forefront now, and all could contribute towards this sort of thing happening. I do like your videos, and will watch whenever you upload, but please just have some sympathy with the circumstances.

I did a quick check on that car - N5GNW appears to be no longer on the DVLA system, nor does it come back with any MOT history - it says there has been an error and details not found. Usually this happens when a car is broken by a scrap merchant never to be returned to the road, but with it being a private plate, I'm guessing it may have been put on retention or something which is why the details for the car cant be found. Very odd. I'm supposing GNW must have been the old guy's initials. If he had Alzheimers, he may have forgotten how to drive, or that it was even his car - thats what happened to my own father, who fortunately had a family who could look after him and make sure he got the care he needed. But I would think for this guy who likely lived on his own, he developed dementia, but lost the ability to be able to see there was anything wrong with him, and just struggled on, living in worse and worse, more dangerous conditions, with serious sanitary problems due to his incontinence. The problem is that unless people want to be helped, and ask for help, then they are left to their own devices until the put other people in danger. As this house was isolated, the guy could not have known any neighbours who looked out for him, and ended up in a very sad, miserable existance, which is getting all too common is this cold, uncaring society, where unless you have money to pay for care, you most often dont get any care. A sad sad story here, someone's life ended like this, in ruin and decay surrounded by years of hoarding and filthy clutter.

Two or Three Electric Heaters plugged into one extension cable at the top of the stairs is a frightening sight, they could easily have overloaded the cable, which then set fire to the carpet at the bottom of the stairs. Looks like the house owner might have lost power in the upstairs sockets and couldn't afford to get it fixed ( or an Electrician refused to work in there given the hoarding) so they ran multiple extensions leads up from downstairs to get around it. Fires on stairs are never good, they block escape and funnel smoke upstairs like a chimney. I hope they got out OK.

Thanks for noticing the fires plugged in maybe that could have been the source of the fire thanks 👍👍
