Galgauskas Manor St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church. Built in the period from 1850 to 1860. It has been abandoned since the 1960s.

I would love to visit that place - Sadly I don't speak Latvian! I just know that my grandfather was born in Riga and raised in Galgauska, but had to leave it as a child, because he was a baltic german (with a russian grandmother) and all Germans had to leave the Baltic states, because of the Hitler-Stalin treaty
