Abandoned GetGo Carnegie, Pa

We used to have a getgo in Hermitage,Pennsylvania in front of Giant Eagle and closed around 2016 and is demolished to put an Arby's and a Rita's. The newer GetGo is now near the Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, and the Burger King in Hermitage,Pennsylvania on South Hermitage Road.

Ive been to this Get Go so many times. Several times a week. I preferred this smaller location rather than the larger one down the street. The new location seems to have dirtier customer and employees

Hey Wallie,you aren't kidding about Get Go's getting bigger.The new one in Avon by me is massive,is as big as the Pilot Flying J truck stop @ the next exit in Sheffield.😯

So weird to see cigarette racks behind the counter like that. In Nova Scotia they made it law several years ago that all tobacco products had to be hidden. All stores that sell cigarettes have them stored out of sight of the customer in drawers, and they aren’t allowed to have any advertisements.

That is pretty much identical to the layout of older Royal Farms stores here in MD, right down to the interior layout... the older RoFo's as we call them, couldn't make a lot of food because their kitchen wasn't big enough, so they tore them down and rebuilt them up as bigger, better stores, much like GetGo appeared to do.

It was definitely a Cross Roads back in the 90s, and I vaguely recall it being a Sheetz. Also I'm relatively sure this store closed at the end of 2015.

Giant Eagle also owns Market District which is a larger store with more food items, international food items, a diner inside, beer and wine. They're huge in terms of size but there is only a handful of them.
