I worked a dead building when it was purchased by By a friend of mine and we called it revolutionary Cinemas, we were open for about a year and a 1/2 until 2012 When? My body died. And his parents just sold the company and it State abandon after that man. We put a lot of work into that building. When we got it, it was a disaster. It took 3 months just to clean it out. Fix everything and get it back up and running. But we had a lot of fun doing it. Thanks for covering this place, man that was awesome.

That sounds awesome! I would have loved to see such a massive theater operating back in the day. Even if it was just in the Greenbriar 12 days after Magic Johnson. I've had several comments saying that it has since been demolished. I was really hoping to get back out there and film it one last time. I love that it was so well-preserved from the Magic Johnson days. This was, and still is, one of the coolest places I've had the privilege of visiting.

Hey Zeeman there was never no Sears at Greenbriar Mall man, but never knew much about the movie theater other than it was owned by NBA legend Magic Johnson himself, he pulled out of this mall due to economic downturn from the previous economic crash, but anyways I’m not surprised why this place is still abandoned either, I predict Greenbriar Mall will be out of business by this time next year if not sooner once Macy’s leaves. 🤔
@ZeeMann_Retail4 жыл бұрын
Hey man! Yes, I was surprised to find that there wasn't ever a Sears operating at this mall, but regardless it did well in its early days, but with it losing its anchors, I don't see it lasting too much longer either.

That’s because blk business owners tend to never invest and run their business at a level of high profit. They end of closing down
@ZeeMann_Retail3 жыл бұрын
I'm going to try and keep things away from my personal opinions on this kind of matter. Though, I think that statement is stereotypical and doesn't accurately represent the true situations. I've seen some behind the scenes looks at what it takes to run a business, and I have a lot more to learn. I can say that it isn't anything easy to do. So making a statement like that isn't necessarily accurate, and I don't condone making those kinds of statements unless you have some kind of physical evidence to prove otherwise.
