To be fair, as an EMT, i can attest that we don't get money from anything like that. More likely, the hospital paid off the private ambulance companies in order to arrange transport here. If it's a critical emergency though, most of us will transport to the closest appropriate hospital based on orders from our medical director.

I went outside of US to do surgery and was the best thing that I had done the doctors even give their cell phone number the treatment is amazing and the hospital stuff really cares even food and drinks in America after a major surgery they rushed me to get up and leave that my husband had to intervene to stop the nurse to try to put me in a wheelchair to leave was insane is all about the 💰

Wrong Hospital. This was Sacred Heart Hospital, they took kickbacks for referring medicare and medicaid patients to Sacred Heart Hospital. They were also making up fake and ghost patients that received care but did not. The FBI and Chicago police raided the hospital records it was shut down soon after. The hospital has been abandoned since 2013 and demolished in 2022..Edgewater closed in 2001 following a massive insurance fraud scandal and demolished in 2021.
