Thank you for bringing us along on another sneak. What a new year it could be if we all crept into some abandoned s**thole nearby and cleaned it up. Imagine the dismay of the powers that be, no forms filled out, no applications submitted, no due process adhered to, just beauty and order flowering up out of decay and neglect. That was the recreation hall you cleared up. Where they would hold Xmas parties, Burns supper, Halloween parties. Carpet bowls It was a thriving Hall at one point always some activities for the patients.. worked there for 30yrs

Hi guys. I used to work in the ward that you came in through the conservatory it was ward 9 was for elderly patients and 10 was upstairs for more able bodied patients. To see the rec Hall in such a state was awful object the the state of the whole place saddens me and my colleagues that l forwarded your video onto. The one with the "smell of pish' was ward 1 geriatrics. We had some great times in the rec Hall for the patients all year round from Burns suppers, valentines, Royal wedding (William and Kate), especially Christmas when the primary school kids came for the concert and each one went home with a goody bag. The lights on the ceiling in the rec hall were from Christmas were the Christmas tree had over 5000 lights on it and was a site to behold. It makes us all sad to see it now. I watched the one from the Queen mother's another one that jogged my memory as our oldest daughter was born there. Keep up the good work. It's sad to see it in such a state. Och , that’s Dykebar Hospital in Paisley. I trained and worked there after qualifying.Was a fine hospital then and still has a very few wards in operation.

It's not all abandoned some of the buildings are still in use as offices and the district nurses have offices there to.

Shame that a building that use to help so many people. Is now abandoned and empty.... Could be used for so much more. If this was where I live the scrap metal fellas would have looted the place... Not to mention the vandalism
