My Chinese language teacher said that Chinese people usually don't use water when they clean their houses. They prefer to sweep with broom and let it that way. I don't remember why exactly, cannot say... Also, my teacher said that all of her Chinese friends become surprised when they found out how she does her cleaning routine (sweeping/vacuuming -> mopping floor with clean water -> dusting and etc)...

I've wondered as well. It definitely looks better, but I wonder how "clean" it is. The grout never gets scrubbed so it's still full of dirt and bacteria. But then again, with how bad some of these homes are they can only do so much in a short amount of time. It's an amazing transformation regardless and hopefully the home owner can do better now that they've had help digging out.

They are chinese cleaning products and probably not allowed in western countries as they're pretty strong.Good ole fashioned dish soap,white vinegar and soad crystals will do the job without suffocating you.
