Jack in the Box has the regular burger and fry stuff, but what I love are the tacos. They’re small, flat little things, but they have a good flavor and they’re cheap. They’re still on the value menu at 2 for a dollar! They have changed a little over time. I’m 57 now, but back when I was in high school, the meat in the tacos had a shredded texture and people claimed it was kangaroo meat! All I can say is that was some tasty roo!

A lot of restaurants on this road were closed due to construction on the main blvd. that lasted years(Benbrook resident).... it made it difficult to turn around from any direction which led to many businesses closing down. You would have to drive miles just to turn around and get to the other side. You basically had to eat on the side of the direction you were traveling. The construction is officially done and hope to see these restaurants re-open.

I had seen an Jack in the box out in Fort Collins, Colorado while on an trip back in the mid 90s, had heard from friend that it’s no longer in operation for more than 20 years. None of those never came to Iowa to my knowledge.

I’ve been to Jack in The Box when I was vacation, and I love it. There’s one in Cincinnati, Ohio (West Chester) but I have yet to eat there. I’m surprised I haven’t yet.

We have some Jack in the Box restaurants here in Baton Rouge. They came here in the early 1990s. It's basically a mediocre fast food burger joint. Better than McDonald's, but that's not saying much, but the shakes made with real ice cream aren't too bad. They are often referred to is Jack in the Crack. I read on Wikipedia that they actually ran advertisements in areas where they didn't have restaurants to build awareness for the brand because they want to expand nationwide. They are primarily in the western U.S. and are based in San Diego. Have you gotten to try them? Thanks for the cool video.

Jack in the box is okay. Burgers aren’t that great but I like the tacos and the curly fries and they have pretty good egg rolls for a fast food restaurant. At the end of the day it’s just a fast food restaurant that has mediocre food.

Great video as usual Wally, thanks. Jack in the box sucks in terms of the burgers, but the breakfast menu is good. Jack in the Box back in the early 90s I believe, decided to revamp their entire menu, and change the way everything tasted because they thought people were bored of it oh, but it was actually good. But now since they revamped it, and so-called improved it, now most of their food isn't as good as it used to be. I used to look forward to getting Jumbo Jacks and ultimate cheeseburgers, but now I won't touch them because they don't taste like they used to, and the hamburger patties are thinner than they used to be. So I would say, try Jack in the Box burgers at your own risk, but I highly recommend the breakfast menu, they serve breakfast items all day. Take care, and stay awesome.
