The mix of Swede and Japanese design is a really nice look. It’s neat and tidy, but also open and fresh feeling. I really love it. Great job dude!

@@trophyscene5015nah American style is way better. Better than uncover wood. Also Swedish people can never enjoy large houses in America, and they have to fit in those tiny apartments.

@@k-wc1rz the people who enjoy feeling like they are constantly in some office setting, or a facility of some kind are definitely in the minority. We didn't get to say when they decided to change all of the designs of the homes here, because they did it in order to save money and time. There was no real reason or other need for the change. An entire violently bright/white home should have just become another option among the existing designs, not the new standard for ALL homes.

@@trophyscene5015 because that’s the default version of a house, where most people accept it. You can always repaint the wall or just hire your own workers and let them follow your desired design.

No. Most Japanese homes are simply not built to last. They prefer to build instead of buying a second hand home. Homes there tend to depreciate becoming nearly valueless after 20-30 years after being built.

fun fact: many houses in Japan depreciate in value over time, and are treated more like commodities than investments.

they depreciate in value because it costs more than it is worth to upgrade an old home to fit current earthquake standards, so that makes it more dangerous to live in and can scare buyers.
