Abandoned K&D's Corner Stop - Bessemer, PA. This was one of those neat roadside finds. This vintage gas station and convenience store closed years ago and just sits on the corner within the small town. Looked like it was a nice place when it was open.

Before it was a gas station and convenience store it was an arcade. I dropped many a quarter there playing foosball and pinball! I also bowled many games at Mohawk Lanes. The original owners name was John Tunsabell (spelling?). That may help you find the current owner to hopefully get a look inside. It's been closed for a very long time. I'd only been in K&D a few times as I moved from the area many years ago, but it always seemed nice. Great video btw. Brought back a lot of memories. For me, Bessemer was a great place to grow up.

I grew up in Bessemer that place was thriving under the old owners. It was a nice little corner store/ gas station. Makes me sad to drive past it and see it abandoned

This is another awesome video. Great find as well. There is a place about 45 minutes from my place that was a bowling alley for years. After it closed, it sat empty for years. They put a Dollar General in it a while ago. When you shop in there, you can still feel the dips and curves on the floor. It is actually pretty cool. Awesome job. I love watching your videos.

I remember those gas pumps years ago here in Huntsville Alabama we had Conoco gas stations and now they are big a anyway I remember years ago you could pump your gas before you pay

Also if you're ever in Bessemer, Alabama, you could possibly stop at one of the two abandoned Food World grocery stores there if you wish, but please do it at your own risk because i've heard that there was a body found behind the one near a former Hardees that became Wing It, though i haven't heard anything about the other one. But this is a great video!

We seem to cover a lot of the same areas but I'm a truck driver so I get around lol. Never was in that place but had seen it many times being I hauled cement into those silos just down the street from this station. I know when that cement factory quit producing cement and became a transfer hub that killed the town of Bessemer,pa I think they had of 100+ employees and when I delivered there they had 3. Great video

They used to have the best lunch meat in town, and the bowling alley before the older couple closed it they had $2.50 games. My mom used to play in leagues there and the gas station was originally yellow i grew up next to the original owners super nice people

It used to be a very busy little convenient store & gas station! Sad it just sits there like so many small businesses after Covid. Same with the bowling alley. Kids just aren’t interested anymore

K&D was for Kathy and Dave's they sold it to Jyll Anderson....but before K&Ds it was shop ango Phyllis and Bill Ango owned it and before that I believe it was a car wash that was a bit before my time....now for the lanes it's been closed for many years...I can't remember what year but I believe Brad Nelson knows who owns it or is part owner I'm not really sure...but he would be the one to talk to about it to atleast get you in the right direction

I've been in the little gas station probably 5years ago. Very small and cute. check out the cement mill! Also, someone actually owns the bowling lanes, my husband knows the owner from working on his truck before.

The people that took over didnt know what they were doing. The bowling alley has been closed for years. The owner retired. It has 10 lanes. Inside the restroom a sign says please don't drink the water from the faucet. Many hated bowling there when city tournaments were held there. Tough lanes
