I Remember going to this El Canelo once the food was decent but I remember the burger King more and going there quite a few times

There is an old empty McDonald’s on Washington Avenue, an empty Aldli building on Adams Avenue, an empty Stationers on Fourth Ave , in Huntington WV. Empty Toys R Us at the mall in Barboursville, WV

Feel like I’ve been seeing a lot of burger kings on here recently. There’s 3 in my town of 50k people and no one’s ever there. I have a feeling I’ll be visiting some abandoned ones here soon as well.

I've live in union township my whole life. (The township this is in) In the early 2000's it was where all the kids would go on half days. We would walk through the woods directly behind the building. El canelos was only there for a couple years and they never used the drive through. Also if you like Mexican food all of the El canelos in this town are poor quality. The good Mexican restaurant in town is the next business down the street on the right side down the hill from the burger king called los amigos.

Awesome video now there is a abandoned bank on west academy Street in Randleman North Carolina it was going to be a cookout but it got turned down so now it just there .

I think the water pipes broke in this place for a few days before it was discovered during the winter and really messed the building up 2 years ago.

this is so WEIRD. I work at the dollar general directly next to this and have for a while, lol. super interesting to see it from someone else's perspective. fun fact! this was the only good burger king in new castle. the one downtown SUCKS.

Found two abandoned gas stations in the Youngstown area one is in mineral ridge oh 3624 oh 46 is true first address the other is off of route 46 and interstate 80 off of seventy six drive. I don’t know what the second one was but the first one was a mcquaid’s sunoco

El Canelo has good food they still do, ppl hate bc they built a new one called Los amigos with the same food pretty much. Love El canelo still to this day!

That stretch of State Street does not seem to have had good luck as far as restaurants. There was a long-running restaurant there called Bingo's which burned down in 2007 and was never rebuilt. That being said, there is a very impressive Pizza Joe's location that also sells donuts. El Canelo does seem to be an institution in that part of PA; they catered at my college's homecoming a couple years ago (I attended Westminster in New Wilmington).

My daughters always make a trip to the factory when they come to visit. They found quite a few unbroken dishes the first time they went, but within a couple of years there were no more left due to vandals. I have a few pieces of Shenango, 80-110 years old, from various rail service sets. They're nothing exceptional to look at and they're not worth much, I just like old stuff.
