Salford crescent police station closed in 2008. With nearly 50 years of history in this important building it was great to explore what’s left.

there used to be a firing range in there I know cause I worked there for a heating and ventilation company and we had a contract at the station fitting new heating system those old calorifiers brought back some memories! thanks for the vlog ! ATB

This building should be definitely be saved and turned into flats/apartments.

Also this place was used for filming a TV drama, forgot the name of it will look it up.

Was there not a corruption charges over the proposed sale of this buildingWHas this been resoled as i have read nothing off it> ?

@@lesbatty84 I believe so. From what I remember reading about it, it was about trying to get it flattened but it’s got historical significance. I don’t think anything was resolved, hence why it’s still in the condition it is……both sides hoping the other will give a bit
