Why would anybody trash that house. It's crazy why no family would not take the pictures or furniture and just left to nature. Good video DAve. Love you and please be safe.

Well folks, there is no big mystery happening here; that is the way they took pictures with everyone back then..It was bad etiquette to smile during a picture, and since cameras were in their infancy, there was a long exposure time ; where you could not move in the slightest without messing it up, so no smile was much easier to hold a pose..

Great explore!!! There is something wrong with this place. I think that whatever happened there was covered up and the family left, yes, but changed their name and still live within the little village. With the detail of the yellow and green painting around the door frames/ trim and such, and the panels of 'framed' wall paper on the doors, etc.? This home was obviously well loved at some point. I've seen deer feet mounted that way to act as a rifle rack. I wonder if that's what they were used for ? Seems weird to mount them that high over a door, though. Who could easily reach that in an emergency ? They may have hung them that way to keep them more out of the reach of children.

I just don’t understand how these places with beautiful items in them are just totally abandoned. Why not save them, if they’re old enough donate them to a museum…just don’t let them be destroyed by nature. Thanks for the view of that awesome place.
@PlatinumIrishrose2 жыл бұрын
People who own the property don't want to give it away for free! Why would you want to donate your property to a museum or another person? I know I wouldn't! Maybe you can donate your money or property to the homeless or to Community Services for housing. . . . I'd keep mine if I had any. Smh
@bettybrown75592 жыл бұрын
@@PlatinumIrishrose I was just giving a suggestion because it’s apparent that the family abandoned it. It also seems like they’ve never went back to retrieve any of the beautiful items left behind. Slowly, nature is taking this home and all its belongings with it. Something needs to be done to save all these precious things before nature takes them away. I certainly would have taken all the things in here before I left. I think they’re beautiful and I hate to think about what might happen to them in the near future!!

At 19;34 someone placed the fireplace top back on and unlocked the photo box and placed it there, the plastic in the crib has been removed and that hat box placed on the chair, the lamp moved over to the suitcase by the door. Why are people moving stuff like that??? Doesn't make sense to me. It is not theirs to do with as they please.
