Abandoned OBS Ford F250 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel Revival! Episode 2. Will it run? The Deep Clean!

We get it home and start the deep clean on the field find Ford. Thanks to all the new subscribers and returning viewers as well. I'm trying to do a video series "showing my work" rather than the instant fix. I want to show a realistic revival for a truck that's hopefully going back on the road.

I would put a Damp Rid pack in the truck right away to help with moisture/any mold issues. The truck cleaned up nicely. A/C truck which is nice, I've spent some hot days in Little Rock so that will be nice if you can get it operational. Left rear dent was probably a tire blow out, there is a truck with the same damage on a 2nd Gen Dodge Cummins plow truck at the hangar. Most people would have walked away after seeing the engine bay. You Sir, are a Trooper. I see that as a challenge which I see that you do as well. I know like everyone you a trying to keep cost down but a larger vacuum would help. I have a Shop-Vac that was a Father's Day gift from my girls in 1997 with a 1 inch tube that is still in use in my garage and I bought a 2 inch tube Shop-Vac for inside the house about 10 years ago for the stairwells and interior projects. GUNK on the engine will help with removing oil, grease, diesel and rodent URINE smell. Nice job. Project Garage might be a venue, he knows these 7.3 Powerstroke Diesels. Dump some fluid in the fuel tank, Marvel Mystery Oil or transmission fluid as per the diesel experts.

You need a bigger diameter hose and shop vac. It would make it a lot easier but that was definitely a rough one. Must have been some squirrels
