*TOTALLY AGREE!!* It is very informative too. In fact I'm learning new things from him about the places he goes. Unlike foreign vloggers in metromanila whose contents are nothing but just their repetitive daily routine which is kinda boring to watch. KD is different. Once you press the play button, you'd completely get immersed in his video.

@@bojomojo4109 Vlog's like this is what really makes KD stand out among vloggers in Phil. His cinematography and editing is superb plus his voice and narration is really suited for a docu type vlogs. I think if you get Kulas or Finn or your fave Bisayang Hilaw 😉😁 to vlog about this place , it would not come out as good and engaging as how KD does it. That said , i would defer to your DUMB assessment that vlogs of those vloggers in metro manila is boring (to you 😁) I think you are still young with limited knowledge and few subject of interests or maybe you are DUMB to think that people will have same limited interest like you hahaha 😉. You see, if you get KD to stay in this place for a month and do a daily vlog from there, i am sure it would become boring (even to you 😁) and not as good as these first few episodes. Those vloggers base in MM are OFTEN still churning out nice vlogs although they vlog daily. Testimony to it is , alot of followers are still watching and enjoying them (including you i think 😁) That's the advantage of doing vlogs in the Phil. There are so many subjects that you can cover. If you vlog about travel and adventures , there are 7641 islands you can explore. Along with island explorations are varied foods and cultures which can be featured as vlog subjects too. Even if you try to cover only 30% of the total islands, that would take many years of daily vlogging without running out of topic . Natural calamities and issues , which is abundant in the country, can be a vlog subject too every now and then. So in conclusion quit your Dumb thinking that MM vloggers are boring and not as good as KD. They just have different ways ..and maybe different topic during this lockdown time. And you , the Dumb with limited interest , is just you who has different likes not same to many of us hahaha😉 ✌

I have since found out the following from someone who was there in the 1960s: - It was a cattle ranch, the widest in Asia at the time. They raised Brahman cattle for export to Australia - The tower was for armed guards to spot cattle rustlers and thieves. - The palace was just an ordinary house on top of the cemented base - They bred racing horses there too

This is the only vlog that I actively follow from the Philippines. I'm always interested to see what happens next. Anselm, I really love how you capture the culture of the places you visit. Whether at the local restaurants or by talking with different local people. It's insightful to sit down with the elders and hear what they have to say. It may sound odd, but I love how you show the different conditions of the roads. It really brings me along the journey with you and as an expat living abroad, it's something I always pay attention to and comment on. With the sovereignty issue in the West Phil Sea, our brave T'boli brothers show us on how to deal with it. This episode Kumander D is timely with the present events as it shows us that even if an envader had succeeded in occupying their land and constructed a fortress on it when they were down, still, Surrender was never an option when fighting for what is legally ours... recover it.
@tessabela3 жыл бұрын
land territories are more specific than sea territories... and much easier to claim. this issue with WPS everybody wants to go to war against China. tsk. with this corona pandemic raging the world, and still a little house lizard wants to start a war with the sleeping dragon... that will mean the annihilation of the Filipino race, man. sometimes, we really have to choose our battles.

Very good documentary! I find the Tboli tales fascinating! I wished you’d squeezed him for more story. Oh, I believe those female dancers on the river, there is a story about their dance. I think they were mimicking a bird courtship. I maybe wrong. But it has something to do with birds. Good job Kumamder D!👍👍. If you can, and all these quarantine requirements are over, would be great if you could do a segment on the Ifugaos. After you showed us the idyllic beauty of the Tiboli area, Kule Trail on your way to Lake Holon which gave you and me (us) a sense of peace, it was really weird for you and for me (us) to experience the visit to the Abandoned Palace which reminds me of the movie Schindler’s List. The Chinese landgrabber reminds me of the Nazi officer who would randomly shoots community people from his balcony. Watching you trying to understand the place, made you queezy. I’m so happy that you briefly featured a T’Boli who spoke about his community’s struggle to get back their ancestral land from the landgrabber. Thank you to David for giving you/us the chance to know about the Abandoned Palace. Yes, after a freaky experience, you need a sip of beer. Me too.
