This trip really opened my mind to how some people live! Huge respect for this friendly community! I didn't realise how much nervous laughter I had until I was editing! This was a place that really did surprise me and I think that came through in how I reacted to everything I saw! But laughter seemed to break down a lot of the cultural and language barriers we had, and I was so happy with how it turned out.

Isolation is an advantage to the community. No greedy developers will be interested to push them away, free from material envy, culture will be preserve, absolute happiness is always on their faces no matter how hard life is. I never thought of community isolation as an obstacle to improve quality of life. Because there is nothing to improve. They have not to pay a gym to keep in shape, food are all organic fresh air, and many more advantages..... 😎

I like these kind of travel vlogs. Not doing it to earn but to really understand and show the culture of the tribe. I love how passionate you are to show us this culture that we dont really get to see everyday. I mean we heard and read about T'boli tribe in news and magazine but not as raw and intimate as this. Not all foreigners and media get to feature the real life of these people from Mindanao. This is to change the perception of other people and Filipinos about Mindanao. We dont really live in war here. We have this beautiful life and culture. Thank you Kumander for sharing it with us. Thank you for your passion and dedication.

5:34 The view is breathtaking. It looks like an oil painting. So many hues of green. Superb drone shots. I could look at it forever. I am torn between wishing the T'boli culture can be preserved and wishing an industry can be started to improve their way of life but I know I am seeing them through my North America-raised privileged life. I have a lot of respect for people like David who comes to see them without a hidden agenda.

Another heartwarming, thoughtful and entertaining vlog from one of my favorite vloggers. You are so down-to-earth, and the simplicity and goodness in you always exudes in your every vlog, Anselm.
