Warmer weather is finally here, and the snow has melted so that means it is time for a new season of videos. On the first day of meteorological spring, I head down to Phoenixville Pennsylvania to meet up with @JPVideos81, who made the trip down to my neck of the woods to check out a piece of railroad history with me. This abandoned tunnel also known as the Fairview Tunnel was built in 1884 and used by the Pennsylvania Railroad and later Conrail before being abandoned sometime in the 1980's. The tunnel is 809.75 feet long and is 24 feet 8 inches wide. The tunnel used to have two tracks in it but later it was reduced to only one track. Part of the ceiling has collapsed directly under Filmore Street.
