I went to grove city high school. After all of our plays and musicals, the entire cast would run across the street and eat together in that very Perkins.. Miss it so much! It wasn't the best place to eat but it was the memories that were made there that make me miss it every time I drive pass

That’s so cool that you were in Grove City (my neck of the woods)! I’ve never gone to take pictures of the place because I’d probably get into trouble for trespassing! I really miss that place-their breakfasts were the best! There are still a few open Perkins in the area (Meadville, Niles, and Boardman). l also hope you noticed the OPEN Pizza Hut just up the street from there!

Canton Belden Village location closed a few years ago was torn down and a new restaurant was built in it's place. There food was okay but the in my opinion was very expensive.

I lived in Grove City in the 70's and Perkins or the Dairy Queen was not there . Things have changed a lot since then through out the entire Town ! I lived where the New Rite Aid is now , And my first job was at the Quaker State gas station also where the Rite Aid is .

A while ago when you did your one of your Pizza Hut locations I told you about one in Delhi New York that still had the Red Roof and those trapezoid windows or whatever you call them if you're willing to go several hours for other locations than you know Delhi isn't that far off

I live in this area, this Perkins closed a few years ago. They were actually in the process of remodeling right before they closed. Hence the reason it doesn't look too bad. This wasn't a 24 hours Perkins, ever. That I recall lol.

Hi Wallie! I just wanted to say that the next time your travels bring you to the Columbus, Ohio area you may want to check out Marion, Ohio. It’s a town 45 or so miles north of Columbus and we have a dead mall that has only had a video done by one KZbinr the last time I saw. We also have an abandoned Ponderosa that used to be a Ryan’s that happens to be right in front of a Meijer that opened in like 1990. There are also many trains that come through town!

I will have to look this Friday and see if this is still there. I work with someone that goes to the high school behind Dairy Queen. I always notice the sign for D.A.M. Good Wings (which is no longer there). When I worked at the outlets, we used to order wings from there.

Fun fact (I live in Grove City) that Dairy doesn’t sell Cheeseburgers! Very limited menu, mostly ice cream, and grilled chicken, and no French fries because they don’t have a fryer or a grill!

This building was bought ought by another restaurant chain right before all of the COVID madness started. There were crews working there, and just quit. I haven't seen anyone there for quite some time. Maybe they forgot.
