IDENTITY CRISIS!!! This Abandoned Long John's & Game Stop Is To Become Popeye's?! Enjoy a look at this abandoned Game Stop which was formerly a Long John Silvers. Game Stop closed earlier this year. The current plan is for the building to become a Popeye's restaurant. Not sure yet if this building will be razed and a new one built or if this one will be repurposed.

This one don't make no sense" I said that line in my video of this place in reference to the legondary Pittsburgh Dad Pizza Hut video (his best video ever in my opinion). Speaking of which, accross the parking lot is The Rice Inn, an asian resturaunt which was also from the Pizza Hut video that is very good, I absolutely love eating there because the food is good and I love the building.

This video is hilarious! This is the first time I've known a building to have an identify crisis! As for a Game Stop, store, it's a very dismal store to shop in. No wonder they closed. I've seen other Game Stop stores in malls that are very colorful and bright inside the store. Have a KMartlicious Day!

Great video! I remember going inside one time when it was the GameStop and remember the floor being slanted. I haven’t noticed how bad this place looks now, it would be a lot better to rebuild it in a different location because it seems out of place there.

Great video Wallie! The bad service and lack of cleanliness at Popeye’s must be a Pennsylvania thing. I have been to Popeye’s in Martinsburg, WV and in Frederick, MD and had good service at each one. However, when I visited the Popeye’s in Altoona, PA the service was bad. Only two or three people were working at the time and I waited inside more than 30 minutes for service. Their drive-thru was swamped and there were quite a few people waiting for service inside. The trash was overflowing inside and outside and their restroom had some things in disrepair.

Actually, I've noticed Popeye's locations having service issues, in various places where I've eaten at them. It seems the service at a lot of their Chicago area locations isn't good, sadly to say. And when I talk to people(both in real life, and on Facebook), it seems a lot of people I know mention service issues often are a problem for Popeye's.

This Ljs closed back in around 04-05. I ate there tons as a kid and when they turned it into a gamestop it was a huge waste of time and money. The building is being demolished

Agreed that’s crazy because my Popeyes about 35-40 mins from here in Washington pa was a former ljs to but it was a A&W combo like the one wallie did abandoned in Robinson township but the signs we’re different a little it was like the one in newkensington Pennsylvania that ljs/A&W combo one kind of, but it’s nice for my friend that lives in Lawrence pa by mcmurray can either choose soon to go to my Popeyes in Washington come to this one since there both in between her area.

Apparently as of August/September 2023, they're FINALLY gonna start on the Popeye's. I'm guessing they're gonna tear the building down and build a brand new one. No way they're gonna remodel the old building.

Yeah, what's funnier (odder) than a Shop N Save across from a Giant Eagle and Walmart is near my house... I have a Walmart across the street from a Kroger if I make a right out of my neighborhood. If I make a left and go to the end of the street are another Kroger and a little ways down is an Aldi and a Walmart across from it. Halfway between my house and the 2nd Kroger is a Meijer. There isn't a Game Stop close enough to my house for me to want to go there considering I download games because the price is the same... I know some people want that physical media, but vI don't care about physical games anymore.

Oh no Long John silver's would have never had carpet they would have had that awful terracotta square floors with the black grout that's really greasy no matter if you scrub it or not I used to work at a Long John silver's years ago right after they took out the draft beer shop and save have closed in Missouri I'm not sure about anywhere else in the country but yep shop and save is no longer in Missouri
