Welcome to the abandoned Perkins located in Hilliard, OH. This Perkins closed in late 2022 due to underperformance, and as or 2024 this location has been demolished. It’s unknown what’s going in its place. Let’s go take a look.

Ate there many times on trips to and from The James for my mom's cancer treatment. Store was worn down but they had a great cooking & serving staff.

Most of the big box buildings became churches or indoor go kart tracks. Most fast food buildings became some ethnic food outlet. Most of the Perkins I have seen either become a Greek owned restaurant or remodeled into a business like a dentist.

I’ve seen a Perkins became a scam check cashing place. Ive seen a Golden Corral became a Dollar General. Ive seen a lot of weird reuses of a building.

Never ate there and yes they did demolish it already and building a auto body shop. Also that is really Columbus, it gets confused all the time lol. Even our local news station mix it up.

Maybe it was deemed a public nuisance, because of people gathering there, and trying to tear signs down. What is it like, at night? Do teens gather there? Anyone selling substances?

The building is a nuisance? This whole area sounds and looks like a nuisance! You got a goddam highway with noisy fkn cars right out side the restaurant. What a meme! IDK, maybe something about the back rooms here was bad, but still.

So should it be in the middle of nowhere? If you're running a restaurant, don't you want it where people can actually see it? This was at I-70 and Hilliard Rome Rd which is a very busy shopping area. Almost all Perkins restaurants are going out of business much like a lot of places these days thanks to covid restrictions. They were unable to recover. Plus this building had some issues that the owner refused to repair.

@@hillorisartin6129 Nope, but literally next to this roadway, it's noisy from all the car traffic that is also traveling at a high speed. Maybe it's not terribly noticeable inside the restaurant, but outside... It'll be quite noticeable as can be heard in this video.

To be fair, it was a pain getting into the parking lot. You have to take a left at the intersection and drive past Wendy’s and use the hotel entrance to get to the parking lot.
