I can’t afford an original A1 so yes I did get the TISAS 1911A1 clone and hey I’m happy with it! Shoots hollow points, no MIM parts, hammer forged.

Technically it isn’t the James Bond gun, but it’s close. It’s a Walter PP with a longer barrel. He had a PPk with a shorter barrel, basically the same besides that tho, I’ve got one and great guns

Also, 41 mag used to be an intermediate between 357 and 44, though as you can imagine not very popular any more. Similar to 44 and 357, there was a downloaded version, 41spl

How does a giveaway or sale or finding these type of things happen. All 3 of the 3 so far are beautiful, ok 4 out of 4 so far? I used to buy coin collections when I could, ok, 6 of 6 looking good. Wish I'd used some of the precious metals, numismatic stuff, or stones I'd find in jewelry boxes were put on at least one gun per batch ...oh, damn, Luger too. My wife's grandfather had several from 44-46, he gave them away or sold for dirt cheap. With he had P-38s too. Had a Browning Rifle, apparently, but another one gone before I came around. OK, 1911 after my childhood broomhandle fixation. These are all good guns

1911s suck cool history good for their time but not a fan never was never will be and no I’m not defending any other frame or company or style handgun it’s a caliber thing 9mm sucks 45acp sucks and before you argue that just compare numbers with 10mm .40 or 357sig sorry not sorry they are better rounds Through and through can’t convince me otherwise people get hit with nine multiple times runoff and 45 you got 20 yards of Power maybe so no it’s 9 mm 45 ACP they suck.
