This is my home. I fish and camp all the time, but they stopped repairing the bridges because they kept getting washed away over the years. I love it that they never fix it

Hey question 🙋🏼♀️ in the area, particularly closer towards Daniel Boone Homestead. Are there underground tunnels? Or is it just lure! TY 😊

The reservoir is BEAUTIFUL!!! Depends which way you come in. Through Rustic park you have to cross the creek twice and go to the “road” on the left. From Haycreek Road the road would be on the right. Such a pretty spot!!

I still haven’t forgiven the township for closing this down!, added miles onto my commute.

A favorite spot, I used to go there all the time. There is a real nice reservoir to walk around there too.

@@downhexhighway6024 if ya find yourself there again, head toward the birdsboro reservoir that is down a trail on the right side of the road about halfway to the climbing area.

The one time I walked the whole thing it was hot and humid and the insects were brutal. A couple years ago the cable crossing at birdsboro was washed away. I don't know if it was ever replaced.
@downhexhighway60243 жыл бұрын
Was the cable crossing at the Southern side? Or the side I was at?

@@downhexhighway6024 It was up at the Birdsboro side.

It's a shame, you missed the two most beautiful spots in the place. The south east reservior and the North West reservoir. Both are a short hike (1/4 mile) off hay creek. No fishing in the reservoirs though. There are miles and miles of trails in that preserve and the Horse Shoe trail goes through the south side. I've been there a half dozen times and haven't yet explored all the trails. I guess I'm biased but I love the ponds they've created foe the water company.
@@OldPackMule thanks! definitely planning on going back, I literally found out about it the night before and didn't have a ton of time to look into it. Thanks for the link!
