What a great view of the Scottish coast, and I think the weather was perfect! Easy to say when I wasn't there in the cold, but it looks so much the the coast in Oregon where I used to live! Absolutely beautiful, rocky coastline. I was afraid you were going to slip on some of those rocks, and actually said out loud, "Oh, be careful!" But I especially loved to see the old stone house, what's left of it. I'll bet where those two little windows were, there was a fireplace on that wall at one time. How beautiful! Thanks so much for showing us the old place to fish from, and the caves too. It's fascinating, and good to document these things, as you said.

I walked along the cliff path to Johnshaven about ten years ago. I think the castle ruins are called Kaims castle
