Growing up in Wisconsin, I went to places like this a lot. I'm surprised they left so much behind. It almost looks like it could reopen tomorrow.

Wow!!! Another amazing adventure. This would have been an amazing Boy Scout camping post. Large room for events, nice kitchen for cooking, Ample parking. Offices could be converted to dorms. Sad it's going to waste.

Glad to see the site is pretty well preserved, vandalism and theft seem to have become all too common today.

yeah, that's why urbex started getting so much flak, when I was a kid the motto for everyone was "leave no trace, take nothing but photos"

TikTok trend chasers have made urbex increasingly difficult. Anything for those sweet sweet clicks and upboats!

I think the vandalism gives it charm. its art. The real vandals are the corporate fuckers who r indifferent to the consequences of their actions, causing places to go under in the first place

This is going to be a difficult site to hide, my friend. Im not even a quarter of the way through the video and ive already narrowed it down to a few square miles.

Great video and great editing style. I just subscribed. It's a shame to see all the displays left behind. I hope and wish they could find another home for those. They are really well made and I have to imagine not as many animals get taxidermy anymore. Given the condition of the storage building and the message implying the new building would be smaller it would make sense that they still use that building as a storage facility for their outdoors equipment and such.

Uh....The radio building key turned...It's the right key. It wouldn't turn at all if the pins didn't line up.

The Master Lock one on the freezer is the most easiest lock to open up in the world. And the red ring residents one is a Quickset door lock one of the most common door locks available. And it would have opened up that first store with a cardboard stuff on it or at least it would have fit in the lock.
@magicalframe944117 күн бұрын
It's generally a bad idea to do that in most places especially if you're filming yourself. As soon as you pick a lock you go from trespassing to breaking and entering.

I always wondered if people who had worked at these locations looked up videos of people exploring them.

Great video! The sign room was really cool. I wonder, with the mold, will they just destroy all those beautiful mounts with the building?

Apparently that superfund site was a facility that manufactured asbestos insulation and was demolished in 2001

based on the document he found earlier in the video, it sounds like it was due to the cost of mold abatement, as well as just general disrepair

Good thing we dont know the address. Makes it more difficult to figure out its location.

It looks like it's still in use as a home base for supplies and equipment. The grass is still mowed. Considering how the park ranger came during the first visit. They are actively in the building on some frequency.

It sounds like the building was too expensive to repair, hence why they left it.
