I worked for McDonald's for 16 years starting in 1980 and saw SO many of the happy meal toys you would have loved!!! It's crazy how many adults came in to buy a happy meal every Friday when the next toy in the series came out!!! This was a fun I boxing!!🥰🥰🥰

Maybe you can get some more Barbies from his lot - did you see the Catwoman doll? He was not that impressed with the toys, but you really appreciated them, hope to see you open up more for us!

We purchased a Tickle Me Elmo for my granddaughter when she was little. It absolutely terrified her. She screamed if we would even show it to her. She will be graduating this May, and we still kid her about being afraid of Elmo. 😂😂😂

I worked at a Toy Store in high school in the mid to late 90s this is he stuff we were stocking on the shelves. I bought my godson the Tickle Me Elmo during the craze…he still works and his nephew is enjoying him today!!

Watched Taco Stacks video re this and is wasn't very good at all, has to be the first video he has done where i was a little disapointed, it was dark, and he didnt reall go through the boxes much. but yours i love it, you get so excited as i would seeing all the old 80's mcdonalds toys, hope you grab a few more from Taco and do this again xxxx

I saw a Christmas tree that was decorated with old McD's toys. It was GREAT! They had put little "o" hook things in them to attach the ball hangers to. If I had that many toys I would do it too.

Renee.. you make tote & box unveiling so much fun. I know that so many have asked you to help Taco Stacks and I agree. I’m afraid that without your knowledge the toys, games an 15:46 d the miscellaneous goodies will get sold for such a low low price at the flea market! I would hate to see after all his hard work and $$ spent would not result in a decent return. Your enthusiasm for the items you shared brought back so many happy memories.

Seen Taco's video first, he did not show the same exuberance in the opening of bins as you do. You should go help him if you get the chance. There was more McDonald's toys but also home appliances and personal items. I think he will do well but may take a day or three to determine what is what. Thanks for sharing 👍👍

My daughters and grandchildren had birthday parties at McDonald's and Pizza Hut ! The pizza hut would let those kids go into the kitchen and make their own personal pans (1980's ). They made those kids scrub their hands before they could tour the kitchen and make their pizzas . I had one summer baby and one winter baby, Pool parties and roller skating . Ball team parties . When I was a young child we would go to the local theater for birthday parties .In the 50'a and early 60's it would be one 6oz. Coke, one ice cream cup , cupcake or cake, and a small bag of chips. You couldn't get a big bag of chips until the 70's.

I remember going to Pizza Hut for the "Book-It" reading program in school. Wish my friends would have had a party there, I would have loved to go back in the kitchen and see how things were made!

Happy that you're happy! And happy because you're happy (it somehow comes through the screen)! I don't know anything about these toys but looks like you & Taco have stumbled into an amazingly fun & profitable haul. I am proud to say that all my sister's Barbies (who occasionally interacted with my Big Jim & Steve Austin action figures - though this is the first time I'm admitting it) ended up naked, hairless and a little dirty at the bottom of our toy box. That's what makes the pristine ones so valuable, right? Careful with Tinky Winky. He's a subversive you know. Or so I read in the late 90s :). The interloping cake server / cheese grater made me laugh out loud. I'm curious about the former owner of the unit. Collector? Also a reseller? It seems like the value of the contents must have well exceeded the rent on the unit. Well, life happens. Thanks for your pure & infectious excitement. So few places to find that these days. Have a great weekends & I look forward to more from this unit or whatever you decide to put up next!

I still have to try and find out how much the monthly rent was on storage, as this wasn't the type of facility where one would store bags of canned goods or actual trash, like what we see at most storage facilities. I think perhaps they were a collector, enjoyed the fast food chain toys, the thrill of the hunt in finding them, and then when they saw a good deal on a doll in the store, they purchased them. Whether or not they knew that the items would be valuable in the future, hard to say. I still tell myself I should buy some random toys that go on clearance and just put them away for 20 years and then see how much they are worth later! Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

Awesome purchase, combined with lots of happiness from the curator of this channel. 🤑😉 I think that Tim did extremely well with these boxes of vintage toys because they are all in "mint" condition and in their original packages. Barbie is also a big thing over here, because she got a forerunner called "Bild- Lilli" ."Bild" is the biggest newspaper in Germany, and back in the 1950s "Lilli" was a famous promotion doll. All these years, I never heard of or knew of Bild Lillie... Wow! I had no idea that Barbie wasn't an original "invention", now to find an original or clone out in the wild! Her eyebrows seem a bit different than the Barbie, with a longer/slimmer face. Mattel looks to have "softened" her features a bit. Well thank you for the history lesson! Earlier I watched Taco's unboxing totes from the pallets. He was not excited over the McDonald's toys and collector dolls. Call him quick to tell him those totes hold a gold mine. He plans to sell them for a quarter each or by the tote! He seemed disappointed to find toys. Both your videos are fun. I am looking forward to seeing more.

I've never bought into buying happy meals for my kids when they were growing up. I told my kids, if you like the McDonald's toys; we'll find them in yard sales or thrift stores for nickels and dimes back then.

Congratulations to Taco great finds I went to a storage unit garage sale once and the lady sold me a whole tote of McDonald’s toys for like 50 dollars and I was able to use them for our church fall festival and the kids loved getting older toys like Scooby Doo and older Disney characters for prizes because I was using them for church she made me a super deal

Yes, Bratz dolls were big in the mid-late 1990s. My beautiful little niece loved them. That Polly Pocket toy could be worth some change too...Sky Dancer was also a bit hit in the 1990s.

I say it all the time, the price alone of totes in the stores these days... It is crazy though to think that stores are charging $15-$20 for a plastic box.
