Rarely does the public gain access to this long forgotten subway station but in this video I show you apart of Toronto that is hidden. The abandoned Lower Bay Subway Station, Toronto, Canada. Recorded August 2024.

Thanks for the tour. Here in Chicago we have a transportation system called the CTA. When I was a kid I used to explore the subway system. Your fine presentation rekindled so many memories. Thank you.

💙💯👍 Thanks for sharing this video with us. What an interesting place..and I cant figure why that beautiful "chandelier" art piece is displayed down there; hanging under that disintegrating ceiling? Loved the ghost reference, 👻 it would be interesting to hear the history on that one. 💙 ...looking forward to your next video.🙂

This was so cool and interesting to watch. I’ve never been down there before. I like how you took your time to film this station from a lot of angles. It really gave us a sense of being there. The art exhibit chandelier was so beautiful to look at too. And again, like always, I appreciate the trivia you mention as well. For instance, I never knew that the military used this station for some of their exercises. I found that bit of info very interesting. I knew this place was used for filming movies. An early Guillermo del Toro film called Mimic was shot here. Very creepy horror film. This was the perfect place to film for that production for sure! Thank you Once Upon a City for another very entertaining and informative video. Keep doing what you’re doing. I’m a fan of your work. Cheers! 😀

This is very interesting to see deeper down at Bay, I used to come off at Bay or St George to go to some meditation meetings at University of Toronto many years ago or watch Santa Parade on Bloor, did not see further down, does it run to the North. Thanks for the facts, seems I saw that chanderlaire on the streets few days ago, was thinking if it was more deserted and you saw a lady coming in red, lol.

You know Toronto Patrick...haha I did not see the ghost of "the lady in red" but that would be cool to perhaps see a ghost?? 🙂

@@onceuponacity yeah that would be spectacular and great conversation but do not see them with these my eyes here, maybe I do visit them where they live there, .. or use one of those spirit apps I see videos of posted, got a couple in my phone.
