ABANDONED TUNNELS AT SECRET EX MoD WEAPONS RESEARCH ESTABLISHMENT

We are in Portsmouth UK, looking at the former site of ASWE, The Admiralty Surface Weapons Establishment - Or Later known as the just Admiralty Research Establishment. While the main building has long gone, we are here to locate its underground bunker and tunnel system!
It was a department of the British Admiralty and later Navy Department of (MoD) responsible for research and development, into the design and testing of devices, equipment, and techniques in-regard to naval communications, electronic counter-measures, radar missile control and other related fields.
Construction started in 1953, and the building was operational from 1959 to 1984, and finally closed in 1997. The building consisted of three full floors, two levels of penthouses and a basement occupying a quarter of the building area at the western end.
During the explore, we climb through passage ways, carry a ladder, squeeze through holes, and admire the long lost décor.
