Abandoned VW Beetle Built Into Iconic Movie Car | Junk Yard To Show Car In 60 Days | RESTORED

Join in with the RESTORED crew as they rescue a 1968 Volkswagen Beetle from its final destruction. Having an interest to create a movie car for some time now, the guys discover some really cool documents inside that seal the deal and direction of how this car needed to be built.
As the team makes some head way with this forgotten, left for dead VW, things get interesting to find out that this car truly wasn't ready to give up! My first car was a sixty nine v dub, brought the Dody home on a trailer. The rest was in boxes, completely disassembled motor, interior all lights. Put together and brought to school and painted it dark blue metallic. Went to Upper Cape Cod vocational regional technical school, 4 year school instead of regular high school. What a big had great times in it, especially in the snow!!👍❤️💥💥💥😎. So cool to see a build like this great job guys!!

I'm not as crazy about bugs as a lot of guys but who doesn't love a freshly shiny VW? This one turned out great and it's so obvious why it took a wee while. Apart from a quality restoration, this project was documented in professional standard film. The camera-work and all the editing was as good as anything I've seen on KZbin and way better than most of the rubbish churned out by the tv channels. Congratulations on the car, the video and your trophy - great work by the t̸h̸r̸e̸e̸ four of you. Keep an eye on that bug though; Matt at Diesel Creek has had problems with a vehicle with a "mind of it's own" and be careful what you name it - just sayin'. 😁 Joking aside, you must be doing something right, when local law enforcement are doing cameos in your videos. 👍👌 Looking forward to seeing what you do with the Firebird, more shiny paint??? This was so much fun to watch. I really enjoyed this video. I've always wanted VW as good looking as this one. When I turned 15 years old, for my birthday an uncle of mine got me a 71 Beetle. It needed a lot of work. To make a long story short. One night coming home from church, we noticed our gate was open. To find out that Someone stoled my motor. I was so sad. I was working part-time at Burger King for $4.25 an hour. This was early 90's. Like I said earlier, I was so sad and didn't have much money so I decided to sell the car. Ever since then, I have never had the chance to get another VW. This was my first time watching any of your videos and I enjoyed very much especially you guy's adding God in it !!!!! That to me was a great highlight of this video. May God continue to bless you guy's in everything you do. 😁

That was awesome. 68 bug is by far my fave. My neighbors had one and refused to sell it to me…they were saving it for her niece. They finally gave it to her and she sold it off within days--gone forever. That exhaust sound…(the fweem , it’s called). Herbie was a childhood fave as well. Keep up the great work.
