I LOVE the no talking/no music! Beautifully filmed, too. Thank you SO much for bringing an old beauty back to life. It feels like a very noble thing to do. It makes me sad to see any car thrown out. Thanks for some great entertainment.

There's a place somewhere that acquired parts for DeLoreans. I'm not sure where it is. And I've seen someone on Instagram that rents a DeLorean that has all the time travel components on it.

I don't know what you will do with the dash. I think the delorean motor company in texas are making reproductions of the original dash much more better quality than the original. I'm surprised it held up the amount of time it stood abandoned. The frame the chassis and the valley of death would be the most worrying because they have been exposed to the elements. Also the roof where the tbone stainless panel sits is made of cheap metal and for some reason delorean used glue on it to hold it in place and then set the body tub around it. If thats rusted and i suspect it may have on this delorean your in trouble because that vital piece holds the roof torsion bar bolts and it could cause issues with the structure of the roof that holds the gull wing doors!

V8 or different engine! 130hp turd never deserved this much attention. That v6 was garbage when they were made cause of the weight of the car. A v8, 4cyl turbo, 4.3 chevy v6, Flintstone power, ANYTHING is better than the turd they came with. Make it an awesome car with awesome power.

Nice to see a car I almost traded my Mustang in for. A fellow Navy buddy had one of the cars a 1973 which is almost identical to this one. I am into original, so not happy with the change of wheels or the added fender parts, but nice to see this car again and running. Sure brought back memories.

Sports competitions Between 1959 and 1974, the Citroën DS achieved numerous successes in the European Rally Championship (World Rally Championship after 1973), with victories in rallies of great prestige and impact such as Monte Carlo and Finland. Likewise, they had notable performances in endurance events, and a prolonged dominance in national rally championships in different European countries. History After 18 years of secret development as the successor to the 11 Light, the DS 19 was presented on October 5, 1955 at the Paris Motor Show. The car's appearance and its novel engineering captured the attention of the public and the automobile industry that night. In the first 15 minutes of the presentation, 743 orders were placed, and by the end of the first day there were already 12,000. Citroën Tiburon parked on the street Far from being just a fascinating technology in search of a purpose, contemporary journalists effusively praised the DS as achieving the best possible ride and handling performance for its relatively modest engine. Citroën DS 23 Estate (1974) Its high price, however, affected overall sales in a country still recovering from World War II, and in 1957 a cheaper model, the Citroën ID, was introduced. The ID shared the DS platform, but was more traditional in its mechanics. An estate version, the ID Break, was launched in 1958. In 1968 Robert Opron redesigned the DS, changing its round headlights for oval directional headlights. This version of it is the best known and most emblematic. Like the rest of the French cars, the DS design was burdened by the fiscal horse system, and had to be assigned engines of reduced displacement. Unlike the 11 Ligero, there was no top-of-the-range model with a powerful six-cylinder engine. Despite the somewhat slow acceleration produced by its small four-cylinder engine, the DS was successful in both motorsports and rallying, where sustained speeds on low-grip surfaces dominate, and won the Monte Rally. Carlo in 1959 and 1966. It obtained 5th place in the list of "The 100 coolest cars" made by Automobile Magazine in 2005. It was also named the most beautiful car of all time by Classic & Sports Car magazine after a survey of 20 renowned car designers, among whom were Giorgetto Giugiaro, Ian Callum, Roy Axe, Paul Bracq, and Leonardo Fioravanti.

The Citroën DS, also nicknamed Citroën Sapo or Citroën Tiburón, is an E-segment vehicle produced by the manufacturer Citroën between 1955 and 1975 to compete against the Renault Fregate, surpassing it in technology and design. Designed by the Italian Flaminio Bertoni, the DS is known both for its futuristic design and innovative technology, as well as for its hydropneumatic suspension with automatic height correction. The DS achieved advances in automotive standards such as driving comfort, safety and braking. During its series production, which lasted 20 years, Citroën sold 1.5 million units of this car. The DS took third place in the Car of the Century competition, which recognized the most influential automotive designs, and was also named the most beautiful car in history by Classic & Sports Car magazine.
