This breaks my heart. I spent so many summers here as a kid, to see it decaying and abandoned like this is tough to see.

I went here once or twice with my Church youth group and had an absolute blast! I just happened to find out The Beach closed years ago, and is left abandoned 😔. How sad!

From an anonymous source it was pretty easy however Mason police frequent the area on foot or dropped off might be best even when open the gates and fence were for show at best

It’s hard to compete with Kings Island and they’re Soak City or whatever it’s called. This place has been closed for years. I worked right down the road from here in 2016 and it was closed back then. They may reopened it briefly but it’s been closed as far as I know for a long time.
@UptownWatta Жыл бұрын
Yea it reopened in i think 17 or 18 then closed for good at the end of the 19 season

Wonder why this closed? Seems to be a problem with waterparks closing in Ohio. A lot of abandoned places.

Seasonal business is tough, king's island for instance is able to convert stuff to have haunted houses and Xmas celebration to help keep afloat... I think that's tough at a water park!
@daddydidnt9700 Жыл бұрын
It's less than a mile from Kings Island which expanded in 2012 to offer a water park. Unfortunately, it struggled for years due to this. Also the Great Wolf Lodge is an indoor waterpark less than a mile away. 😮💨

You know that church crossroads can re-open it! Their always doing stuff like that They need to come over here and do what Florida does for their parks. it will help the church even more then ever They could rename it the holy Beach! I don't care! just do anything to bring it back
@rgrubb450138 ай бұрын
Place was always packed when I was there. I guess a water park in Ohio is hard to make money on only being open about 3 months out of the year.
