This beautiful manor was built in 2006 for the late Dr Hector Collison (a prominet Maryland cardiologist with about 9 practices in the area). Who died in a plane crash with his son in 2008 (just a mere two years after it was built). Dr Collison had many practices around the state of Maryland. His widow Connie Collison could not keep up with the lavish life her husband left her as Dr Collison had defaulted in his life insurance. Dr Collison was also a ‘pilot’ as a hobby. This manor was sadly 17 years in the planning and only for Dr Collison & his wife & kids to enjoy for two years before he died in the plane crash. The owners after that were rumoured to be a college basketball player & his wife supposedly from Nigeria. The man apparently died overseas a suspicious death & hence why the house was abandoned in the late 2010s. As of RECENT I read it was being auctioned off! Not even near the $10 million price tag it was sold to by Dr Collison’s widow (who they built for $5 million). I did heaps of research and many news articles on it even on social media! Rest in peace Dr Collison such a tragedy 😢

Gospel of Jesus Christ John 3:16 For God So loved the world that he gave his only Begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not Perish but have Everlasting Life. Jesus Christ Died for the sin of the World, If you believe in ur heart God risen Jesus from the dead and confess him with ur mouth to people you shall be saved. Jesus said I Am The only way to heaven there is no other way! Repent of urs sins (Repent means Change ur Mind turning away from sinful things and being truly sorry for it.) trust Jesus and give ur life to him He Loves you cares about you more than anyone ever will! we are saved By Grace Trough Faith!,this is sin: Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death but the gift of eternal life in our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 3:23 For all have sined and felt short of the Glory of God. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Romans 1:18‭-‬21‭, ‬23 KJV Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6:9‭-‬10 REPENT OR YOU WILL PERISH REPENT AND BELIEVE THE GOSPEL GET RIGHT WITH GOD LORD JESUS CHRIST.

As I observe these videos, it becomes apparent that belongings are often abandoned hastily in the wake of overwhelming grief. For those who have experienced loss, the holidays are the worst. I find solace in these recordings, yet it's ironic how the very things left behind, so precious to their owners, ultimately hold no value to them in the end.

I find it very hard to tear up right now for people who instead of selling this shit and giving the money to starving, sometimes dying children... just left it there to rot. That's not heartwarming, it's revolting. You've got a $5,300 clock that could feed someone for an entire year, and you've left it there. I doubt out of grief, just because they can always buy another one.

So from what have heard from previous comments none of these items belonged to the Doctor and his family. His wife sold the property in 2009 and it was bought by a Nigerian family. The family was deported and that is why everything is left behind..... I also wonder why there is not a security system in place for a home this valuable. I know it is bank owned now but don't they want to protect the property from vandals! Crazy

That makes sense. After tragically losing her husband and son I can understand why she sold it. To many memories of what was and what future they planned to live. As far as the things left behind it makes sense. I doubt when they deported the family they had much time to pack or ship anything. Don't care about the reason they were deported. It's just cool to know the backstory of why everything was left behind. Thanks for sharing the info.

As a Taoist who lived in Hidden Hills for seventeen years, I can say I have seen this type of behaviour. Sometimes people find they have holes in their souls, and attempt to fill their bottomless holes with things. Weird story, stranger than fiction?....Leave this comment up Urbex, I'm not disclosing anything.....So the widow of the deceased doctor sold the mansion in 2009, and was purchased by a Nigerian who was accused by the Nigerian government of terrorism, so extradited back to Nigeria away from the mansion in America, hence why all the stuff was still there, he couldn't get back into the USA....and then died in a car accident in 2015 in Nigeria. I went down the rabbit hole. Collison had 4 children. Only 1 died in the plane crash with him. The wife moved to Chicago with her mother for a while, then eventually moved back to Baltimore by the time the youngest was in high school. The mother pleaded with the Potomac area high schoolbprincipal to allow her daughter to attend and drove an hour each way. The youngest daughter is now a Doctor of Pshchology, graduated from Johns Hopkins and UCLA. Not sure what happened to the other children.

Properties are never truly abandoned. SOMEBODY still owns it, whether it be a private entity or the government. Our family owns several properties all over the US and even in H.K., but we don't v have the wherewithal to deal with the upkeep of all of them. The majority are rented, but a couple could be called "abandoned" since no one has lived in nor stepped foot in them for 10 years. One of our places doesn't even have the water turned on. HOWEVER, we still pay own and pay the property taxes on them. We have had our own share of trespassers breaking in and vandalizing these properties so I don't look highly on this type of stuff.

There’s a KZbin video of a 2008 news story on how the house was unfinished and how the widow was left practically broke when the plane crash that killed the doctor and so. happened. There’s video inside the mostly empty house at the time. Whoever lived there afterwards left all the expensive stuff behind. None of that belonged to a grieving widow. I’m not sure if the Nigerian story is true or not, but it’s a plausible explanation.

Just a little clarification for everyone. The story told in the beginning is about the original owner. Who passed in 08, the home was sold shortly after and had multiple tenants. The Doctor was an honest man in the DMV area. He had 4 kids 2 which were his sons who were in there mid 20s at the time of the crash and a youngest daughter who was around 12. The youngest is a doctor while the two older sons are doing well too the oldest actually works in sports media. There story is cool I guess for click bait but the belongings in there are from families after that. Also the mom went the depression caused by the tragedy...they were able to move inside there previous home which is also a pretty huge place too after she sold this beauty.

The last people to own it went through foreclosure. The stuff left was theirs. I’ve seen a million different videos on this house and everyone has a different click bait story for views. Just saw one recently saying it was a famous basketball player’s home. The last couple to own the home, the woman was a real estate agent and she’s very well known in the area. Although I’m not sure I’d buy a home from her since she let hers go into foreclosure and continuously petitioned the court to appeal it and set up payment arrangements she was never able to fulfill.

For those who have made comments about things for the taking or "free stuff" : Athough , it is abandoned. It does belong to someone. Someone owns the deed to the house/ land . Whoever owns the deed owns the contents. It would be illegal to take ( steal) any of it's contents. Just because a property is in poor condition such as a shack in the woods ...it always belongs to someone whether it be an individual or an entity ( i.e. bank ) . Furthermore , you know that it does not belong to you .

It would be nice to have for free. Tax free. Taxless! Utilities in this is probably ridiculous!

The best thing you said was "Money can't buy happiness". I clean houses and see it every day. Boxes coming every day, stuff everywhere. Then, in it all you sense broken hearts and a wanting to fill the voids in the hearts with stuff..,,sad.

It would be horrible to live in a house like that. It’s so depressing. So cold and impersonal

Is it just me??. Or are rich people wasteful???... So many people could have benefitted from those items. If they didn't want it. You have someone sell it at Estate Sale and Donate the proceeds to Charity, Homeless Shelter, Animal Shelter! Come on????😮😮😮😮😮😮😡😡😡😡😫😫😫

I have seen this house by a couple other explorers and they didn't even show the beautiful office at al and they didn't even show the vanity or anything. It's crazy how much stuff they left behind with the tags still on them. Like why can't someone go in there and remove the furniture and the cloting and shoes and donate it instead of letting it set there and rot and go to waste. Makes no sense at all. Its like the people just up and left everything as is. I have to say your video is the best I have seen yet of this house. I just love this house sooo much. Its absoutely breathtaking.

Definitely not abandoned and got permission from someone to explore that place, people usually have estate sales for stuff like this. This is not an abandoned house.

That EXPENSIVE clock in the office in the beginning of the post was odd and evil looking. The 2 “cherubs” holding whips or whatever … were cute babies on top, but from the waist down they were goats w cloven hooves for feet 👺 That’s… NOT normal. Who would want a clock w babies on it that have cloven hooves instead of cute, fat baby feet? That’s probably where the wealth originated 👹 That “punch bowl” in the kitchen however… would have come w me …

If the husband was involved with the mob. The wife may have been put in witness protection and only allowed enough clothes to last a week or so. She may not have been able to take all the clothes or has to hastily grabbed what she could in a very short time.
