@Libby Berman yes there are a few where we live but my dad takes it all in his stride and says he can cope and doesn't want to commit to them. I'm not sure wether it's his pride or cost that puts him off but putting it crudely i am pissing in the wind trying to get my point across to him and watching him deteriorate as he cares for mum 24/7 For the last 4 years now my life has been a living nightmare, I just don't know how he copes but he is doing a good job but I'm scared it will kill him in the end.

I remember this farmhouse, it's really sweet. I think the door was left open because some A hole would break in otherwise. Someone opened the door and let the dog run around the house to check for explorers or thieves. Great to see you both out and about, skipping around. Carry on !

Thank you so much for the awesome explore! So my mum passed away about 3 months ago... My dad hasn't touched a thing! Not only out of sentimentality but mainly he doesn't know where to start as she too had dementia! So within the normal chaos is my mums "Craziness" (no disrespect intended, only coping skills) & I truly believe that if their home was thus big my mum would have been exactly the same!

Keep in mind, it may have been taken by family. Not everything gets taken by other explorers .. it was a very odd home, but most people are comfortable with what they make of their own. It was probably beautiful in its time, and the pictures were exquisite! Tc and stay safe.

I'm surprised you found the house creepy, maybe the sprit of the lady is still there ? She might be still confused and unhappy. I felt there must of been a lot of love in that house. They worked hard on their farm together. Beautiful house, touching video, brought tears to my eyes. I remember. A lot of boxes packed up and nowhere to go. One of the scariest houses you and Mark were in was the one that the bedroom door slammed shut after you walked out of it - the one that had a lock on the OUTSIDE of the door. Awesome place too.

Just a very simple house built to live in, not even concerned about keeping up with the Jones's. While the house was not anything special (except for their story ) the land surrounding it was magnificant. Far away from people, just my style, privacy and freedom to live life to your fullest.
