This song was probably the only thing that kept me from feeling totally alone when I was a kid. Made me feel like there was at least someone out there who understood exactly how I felt. Even now, this song reflects exactly how I feel and how I've always felt. This song is important to me, as a symbol of my pain, and I'm really, really happy that you did it such justice with this cover. It was beautiful and amazing. Thank you.

I know I’m late to this, but my class played this song for an example in character development. It really meant something to me and I almost shed a tear. But what hurt the most was that kids around me were making fun of it and saying how cringy it was. This song is so good it pretty much deacribes my life. I've been bullied ever since I got into school and now I'm a super big shut in. I've been laughed at for not being able to control my emotions now all the emotions I have are fake. I've been left out of so many things I wanted to be in. I relate to this song so much. I suffer from depression and although it came up about 7 years ago, because of my sexual orientation, because of bullying, feeling different and excluded and deep unrequited love. I still can't really see the light at the end of the tunnel. I love this song so much because it describes me so perfectly. Sometimes it feels like I am alienated from reality of other average people and they can never really understand. I hope one day it will get better so I'll come back to listen to this song with a smile on my face.
