I have calculated nodal forces from Matlab code by creating the same number of elements as in ABQUS, but there is so much data for each node that I want to incorporate into the ABQUS job, so how can I do this using Python script?

Good job! I wonder if there is an ABAQUS-Python script that can help the 10 iterative results you got in this video be shown in one odb? In other words, could you show these iterative results in a continuous animation?

After interfacing matlab with abaqus python script. Could this process help me in doing iteration study automatically . I mean to say without giving input every time, abaqus will calculate frequency of plate.
@hnrwagner3 жыл бұрын
i am not sure about matlab, but this video shows how to perform an interation which scales an imperfection and determines the buckling load which depends on the imperfection. This should also be applicable to a plate and frequency analysis.

Sometimes we use shell homogeneous for 3D solid model and sometimes for shell model? Could you please explain the reason for that?
@hnrwagner3 жыл бұрын
I use "shell homogeneous" in general for isotropic material. And depending on the geometry for either solid (3D) or shell (2D)
