It's good to see you return , after a long time , with ABBA songs you had done a great job with "The winner takes it all" and I think that now you shined more with "Dancing Queen" It is a song that has many more variants in its melody. and the voices of the girls Agnetha and Frida are amazing they shine brighter than in any other song I have a personal theory about "Dancing Queen" If the English consider it the 2nd song that gives the most joy (after "Don't stop me now" by Queen) and Americans consider it the 2nd best pop song (after Withney Houston) So "Dancing Queen" must be the best song ever. because if neither the English nor the Americans accept that a non-English or non-American is better than them is the best argument to maintain that "Dancing Queen" is the best I return to ABBA and its songs We already said that the pianist and composer Benny Andersson is brilliant, very charismatic, with a very particular style. From his piano combined with Björn's accompanying guitar, the great melodies for ABBA songs are born. the piano and keyboards are almost always very prominent in them: in introductions and/or closings, like Thank you for the music or Money money money or the last one "Don't shut me down" on bridges, as in S.O.S. in devastating openings, like in Waterloo in unexpected endings, like in Chiquitita In riffs, like Gimme gimme gimme or leading the entire song, like in Super Trouper I hope we see you more often with more ABBA songs to dissect on the piano with your deep analysis and the bonus of your interpretation my suggestion is for my favorite "S.O.S." (1975) but given that in just over two months we celebrate the 50th anniversary of ABBA's historic victory at Eurovision It would be very appropriate for you to pay tribute to the iconic "Waterloo" a masterpiece of less than 3 minutes I sent you my best wishes from Buenos Aires, Argentina South America
