To dovetail on what you stated, when I was in high school there was always an upright piano in our auditorium. There was a woman janitor that started her day just before school got out and probably ended around midnight. Well, that woman use to go into the auditorium and practice on the piano when no one was around. Finally our principle found out what was going on and one day we had a special afternoon program to watch her play. She played the most amazing ragtime piano you ever heard. And this was just a preview concert. The school gave her a full concert later that evening open to the public. She was an amazing talent!
