Men in ABBA did not sing much, especially in later period. ABBA with men leading vocal sounds completely different, good , but not that good as it was with women voices on top . BTW, the very first ABBA song I heard was Watch Out and how different is that from what they did in Fernando or Winner Takes All . kzbin.info/www/bejne/hHWpqqd_pc6diLc It shows how good musicians and businessmen they really were. They choose to step back little bit and let the women do singing because it sounded better and it brought more money and fame in . It must have been very hard decision because after all they were rock stars, they created the music of ABBA and they wanted to be in front, to get full recognition for it. But they chose to give up roles of frontmen in order to get maximum success.

I was born in 2003... but, despite that, I am a huge fan of ABBA's music, there is something so "hypnotic" about them. Agnetha and Frida's voices together are so amazing, and even when Bjorn and Benny sing it still sounds like nothing can compare. I'm dancing to these songs like it's 1979!! #1ABBAFAN

What would life have been like without ABBA! Happy 50th! 🎉 Go to ABBA Voyage concert as soon as you can! I remember vividly watching the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest as a 6 year old and watching ABBA performing “Waterloo”, and being mesmerised. I’ve been a fan ever since, even being bullied for it, especially when entering secondary school in 1978. ABBA have a combined wealth of nearly £1.5billion. Oddly enough, 6 April 1974 to 6 April 2024 is 1,577,912,463 seconds. So ABBA have earned £1 per second over the last 50 years! Thank you Anni-Frid, Bjorn, Benny, Agnetha.

This song got played to death on the jukebox at a skating rink in the small town where I grew up. I was 15 in May of 1979 and riding my Sportster without a license. I was a year too young when I got it at the time but the cops in the little town knew most of us had been driving since we were 12 or 13. The bike was registered in my mother's name and she often said years later how she worried about my riding a motorcycle or more specifically the way I rode. Still the girls thought I was "cool" (yeah right!) and that's what I cared about most. Songs like this and so many more from the late 70's and through the 80's bring back memories. Some good and a few bad . Just glad I was a part of that time. I'm 52 and a grandfather now and I still ride. At a slower pace though.
