@@djstudioapp I gave it a go last night and it solved a problem I'd been having getting 2 old D&B tracks to mix and the AI beat grid fixed the issue. When I checked the BPM line it was all over the place. No wonder it was giving me so many issues.

Yes, with your Beatport Streaming subscription, you have access to ALL beatport songs and can mix them in DJ.Studio. When you want to export your mix to a WAV you need to buy the used tracks. but we help you with a shopping basket for that.

Just start with two tracks in the same key. Split both and see how it sounds when you swap the vocals.

Yes for the mix you can go up and down 2 semitones. In the Pitch automation of a track you can go up and down 12 semitones.

I just looked for a techno track that fit the same key as Gimme Gimme. For the cord progression you can cut the vocal and place it at the right spot if needed.

We hope that in the future it will be possible to make DJ mixes with Tidal Streaming files. We have spoken with the Tidal team, but now we need to wait till they approve our request.The problem with mixing with streaming files is that you are not allowed to record the mix as a Mp3, Wav or video files. We will also need to implement a legalize process to make that possible. ​

Is it possible to load more than 2 full tracks into the DJ Studio DAW ? For example a mashups with 3+ different songs playing at the same time?

No at the moment we have 2 decks who are responsible for the tempo. As you can see with the ABBA track, the beatgrid is leading for the variable tempo of whatever you put in the sample lanes. We now have 2 sample lanes. With cmd-c cmd-v you can copy tracks to those sample lanes. Later this week we come with an extra Voice Over lane. This one sidechains the volume of the master. Ideal for your DJ shorts.

The official comment is correct but wait, there’s more. I verified the following. When you create a mix you can add songs up to the limit, I think 60. The songs will be placed on the two main tracks 1 & 2. You can then create samples from any of those songs, which will be moved to sample tracks 1 & 2. You could then slide, duplicate, or save & drag/drop any of those “samples” into the position you want them below song 1, using sample tracks 1 & 2. In this way, you can in fact have parts from 3 different songs playing at the same time. Among those 3 tracks, you can of course have samples from as many songs as will fit in the length of the song on track 1. Bonus move, if you maximize the cross fade duration for track 1 & 2, and get creative with volume envelopes and cross fade shapes, you can have a 4th song playing at the same time. Enjoy 🤙🏽😎🖤🕺

it's not the version we've i guess. We cannot stem seperation for beatsource or other online libraries as well even we cannot add add different songs from different libraries like 1 from beatsource and 1 from local ?

Correct. I hope to get you in sync next week. The mixed projects part did not make it to the production environment for today. I did not want to retake the video next week so that's why Mixed projects and phrase detection is in there but not yet in your version.

Vocals sound really distorted? Is that the stem separation or simply the original mastering of the vocals?

Yes, isolating a vocal from a fully mastered track is always a challenge. If you sidechain the kick on a vocal then that information is gone. But as soon as you put the vocal back into produced music, you can mask it. And there is, of course, always the Reverb "wonder oil". As soon as you use it all artifacts are gone ;-)
