Remarkable. I generally find songs that change tempo obnoxious with a few exceptions. What about Kano - Another Life? Have you tried playing that? It seems to have a downbeat on the second note at the break. Any suggestions?

We don’t have an automatic option for that yet. For now we advise you to place a sample over it or a white noise effect. You can also use the stem separation feature to remove the vocal at that specific point.

Fluer, question. Sometimes on my radio show I do play classic disco. Will this work to correct an entire set that is all "unquantized?" The demo in the video you did looks really good but I want to do an entire disco set with this. Sidenote, I heard you are going to Atlantic City in August? If so we should definitely talk! 😉

Yes sure. You can do every disco track with the new algorithms. For now, you need to manually set the AI beat grids per track. Do you have access to the beta? If not, Leave me a note in the App, and we grant you access. And yes! We are coming to DJX this summer ;-)

awesome i was wondering what the squiggly line was on the bpm grid.....this is actualy a professional feature and quite revolutionary, i do not like the sound it makes in vinyl mode though its abit wobbly on the pitch, ruins some songs

It is.. It is... but if you watched the video or listened to it, then you would know it is in beta at the moment. If you want to play with it, you need to request access in the app. I explained it all in the last two minutes of the video ;-)

nice video and future , what about an equivalent off pitch n time to be not locked to the BPM thing? a video on locking BPM at the track side and not being locked in the electro type of mixing things when we are really open format ?maybe I missed a video . but I need to tell Good JOB! this solution as big potential when taking time to adapt to it

Some amazing stuff. What is your background Computer Science? Tracks are perfect especially for Polkas as i do childrens songs and this software is perfect as I sing the children songs (Stem remove Vocals) but to have it on beat while i do music lessons, wow! I was using iphone DeeJay to remove vocal or vice versa this so much nicer to see on big monitor.

It happened on old tracks for me, but not so so often…. Try to forward to support, they are always answer and solving your problems…

Yes we will. This is just the first baby step in variable beat gridding. We wanted to get it into the hands of beta testers as soon as possible to get this feedback. We now flatten the transitions as well. It would be cool to have transitions that follow the master tempo of a track. Where you can mix-in studio music into live played music ;-)

This has brought the, little kid, on Christmas day, typa happiness within side me!! I love this app SO MUCH!! So many possibilities.... Would it be possible to add a "warp" function, for example the way Ableton has the quantization to help keep tracks from drifting. I know I can just export it as a project but it'll be one less step needed. ((Auto Quantization On / Off Button, added to each individual track, or upon loading into database))

yes! When you extract an acapella from a track we attach the original beatgrid to the acapella.
