I understand the double loop on the ball bungee cords, but you can add zip ties for added security if the wind lifts the canopy

The blocks look lousy. I used 18 inch aluminum earth anchors, impact wrench them into the ground with steel aircraft cables around each post. 3 10 inch bolts thru the board into the asphalt on each side. Each post also has 2 inch bolts in the foot of each posts.
