Frida is amazing. That Vibrato gives me chills. Add Agnetha in, and you have ABBA Magic!

ABBA are amazing and great in "any" style of music, including any folk music style. This is Mexican, I Have a Dream is Greek, When You Danced with me is an Irish ballad, One of Us sounds like Jamaican reggae, The Piper is medieval and in People Need Love they perform traditional yodeling too. They are all-encompassing talents.

About 'Gimme gimme gimme' : The official video is the short version. The album version is longer, with a instrumental section... (Also in the Live version... Frida❤ dance in that section). ❤️🇨🇱🤗👍

And to think that this was considered not good enough for the album. Even Abba's cast-off songs were brilliant. Frida's vocals are just amazing. Thanks for another great reaction!

At some parts their vocal unison makes me wonder,''is that really human!?"It's so out of this world.Heavenly. This was kinda '"re-treated" by the guys and sound engineer Michael B.Tretow before its 1994 final release as a rarity, almost 15 years after it was recorded.I only have a slight objection on the overuse of synths to such a Spanish/Mexican flavoured tune.I mean i would simply add some real acoustic trumpets in it.

Another good ABBA song, which demonstrates its versatility in various musical genres "Put on your white sombrero" In my opinion, it clearly has reminiscences of Mexican melodies Frida's first voice is very powerful, and the final chorus is beautiful It was discarded to enter the album "Super Trouper" could have been included, but it doesn't stand out from the rest (6/7pts to me) My best regards from Buenos Aires, Argentina, South America

This song was ditched for the final recording for the album being the Super Trouper song. The backing track has a bit of a temp track feeling to it. If they had not abandoned it, they may have tinkered with it more. Perhaps more brass added etc. As such the synth track remains. The song was re-used in their later recording Cassandra.

Apart from a few synth sounds and arrangement. There’s nothing from Sombrero in Cassandra. I’m not sure why this nonsense comes up time and time again. It’s as if everyone misread and misunderstood something Carl Magnus Palm said back in 1994.

didn't like it the first time I heard it but the delivery is fantastic so it grew on me
