This song evokes emotion and next month my wee Grandson starts school and am sure I will think of this song as I did when my Grandaughter, Daughter and Son did.

This one of 3 of my favourite ABBA ballads with Agnetha on lead. My favourite is probably "My Love, my life" live Poland as she looks and sounds like an angel and the song really shows off her vocal range. The other one is a bit old fashioned for some people but I absolutely love it, the 1976 TV version is the best as the live version (77) is cut back. Anyway enjoying your ABBA reactions and appreciation for Agnetha, a lot of us feel the same way.

Amazing reaction, for me, the time when Agnetha looked most beautiful was in the years 1975 and 1976, at 25 and 26 years old, she was young and it was also the best time where she performed, you can react to a song by Agnetha pre ABBA, called "I Don `t Know How To Love Him (from Jesus Christ Superstar) in 1972?, the lyrics are in Swedish but there you notice her more youthful and sweet voice.

What a great pleasure! You did a reaction today to ABBA songs most emotionals "Sleeping through my fingers" (1981) is in my humble opinion the most testimonial and experiential song by ABBA This lyrics are very deep, about the growth of a son and how those moments of time go by day by day the guitarist Björn writes it about her 7/8 year old daughter and her mother Agnetha sings it Sometimes it is related to "The winner takes it all", because it has as protagonists Björn and Agnetha But there are differences between the two stories: 1) that is the figurative story about a divorce (although probably with parts of the reality that Agnetha and Björn lived), but this is a story inspired by the daily lives of parents another difference with 2) this does not arouse the morbidity of the leading couple, it is an intimate story of parents and children that generates tenderness and nostalgia 3) perhaps this one does not have the usual catchy refrains of ABBA or a powerful melody like that, here its melody is soft, cared for and intimate, it accompanies without invading the wonderful emotional interpretation of Agnetha, that always shines much more when the song asks to express the feelings In short, it's a beautiful song by melody and interpreter lyrics, it touches the most intimate fibers of emotion and nostalgia, in my Top 20 of all ABBA songs For a new reaction I suggest You "Summer night city" (1978) another kind of style and genre but live perfomance in London 1979, so You can see all the power energy and joy of ABBA on stage: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gaS2fmWfiaeJgJo See you in a future video best regards to You, from my city and country: Buenos Aires, Argentina (South América)

A very meaningful song for those who have had or have children or been around a child growing up. It also works emotionally for children - even adults - who have lost a parent. Childhood passes all too quickly and there are always regrets about what might have been. I think anyone who REALLY listens to it cannot fail to be affected emotionally.

Björn --> guitar. Benny -->piano. From the same TV show there is a hidden ABBA gem, called "Two for the price of one" (Björn leading vocals). I bet you like it, Roskoe!... See ya✌️ Love ❤️ from Chile 🇨🇱🤗👍

Hey Roscoe. This was a very pretty song and loved the guitar section. You know I always dig old skool music. I hope you can do more Simon and Garfunkel when you get a chance.

I love this song but it's a shame they didn't use it on Abba Voyage. A suggestion for you to react..."Queen of Chinatown " by Amanda Lear 😊❤
