One of ABBA most underrated pieces. Just awesome vocals. Simple but very moving. ABBA FOREVER 👍👍👍👍👍

The pure love expressed by the audience here could never be recreated in a studio. The live versions of "Hole in Your Soul" and "I've Been Waiting for You" are so much better in my opinion. These three songs are highly underrated.

They should record this in the studio and release it with the 2 new songs. This is not just a song. This is an anthem for world peace.

Many don't understand they were a studio group. To see them put together the live performance (orchestra and all) is a treat of history. So yeah, so so underrated...even though they are one of the best selling groups in history.

Under rated? Who under rates ABBA. Maybe Americans do it who listen to crap called rap and wh have no idea what music is.
@whenindoubt10004 жыл бұрын
@@kamranlawrencetufail I was a teen in the 70s, and the critics ridiculed ABBA. the "Dean" of critics, Robert Christgau wrote: "We have met the enemy and they are them." This was the worst from Rolling Stone: "By reducing their already vapid lyrics to utter irrelevance, lead singers Anni-Frid Lyngstad and Agnetha Fältskog are liberated to matter on in their shrill voices without regard to emotion or expression, and the language barrier is broken" American rock fans read this stuff, so it was Gospel. The 70s were definitely "tribal" when it came to music. Broad statement yes, but overall that was the way it was. My friends just couldn't understand how I could like ABBA and Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones...

So many memories of this song!! Attendees at an AIDS benefit in Ogunquit, Maine stood arm in arm and sang this song in the late 80's or very early 90's. This was very moving! Years later I am saddened by those now missing from old photographs. I am grateful to those of us here now who continue to make our way "The Way Old Friends Do". Tony I miss you, especially during theses beautiful months of summers in Maine -B-

@EddieAlda There was a little amount of post-production work done on the song, that is true. But the reason is that ABBA performed at Wembley over 5 nights, and the audio of all 5 performances was recorded. Only 2 of the shows, however, were caught on camera for the concert film. The version of the song on the 'Super Trouper' album could have come from any of the 5 performances, rather than the version filmed here.
