ABBA were so professional. Even in the midst of their personal heartbreaks and separations, they used their feelings to make wonderful songs to share their vulnerability and musical genius with the world. This is personally one of my favourite ABBA songs, along with Winner Takes It All, just because you can feel the pain that Agnetha was going through when she split with Bjorn. I’m guessing there was infidelity involved in the breakup, but we’ll never really know for sure as they have always held their personal lives, even at the height of their fame, very close to the vest.

"I'm 19 now" - I sometimes wonder if many of you modern youngsters have any idea how full of yourselves you sound. There are people over 70 who have long, deep memories of ABBA during school, prom, university, marriages and families, divorces and death / loss, war, whole careers, their lives lived out from start to finish... and here you are telling us that "I'm 19 now and will ALWAYS"... you have no idea of the weight of passing time. Hang out with some older people (if they'll have you) and learn how ridiculous that comes across to us. When you're 40, come back and tell us again of passing time. Then you *may* know something of how songs like these pull at the heartstrings of those who lived through those times - of the loss of so many yesterdays. It is quite possible that by then, your concept of *ALWAYS* will have changed.

"One of Us" is a poignant reflection on relationships and human error. I hadn't really listened to ABBA since the early 80's as a kid being driven around by their parents with ABBA tapes in the car. Suddenly in 2021 I started listening to them again and now I'm totally hooked. It's a combination of extreme nostalgia and realizing just how good they were! I've come to this outlandish idea that perhaps my parents actually had decent taste in music after all! I'm still in therapy about that idea but ABBA is helping me through that!

It amazing what maturity does to the listening ear. Back in my youth, my parents were big ABBA fans. I, on the other hand, was a metal fanatic. Well... I still am to a degree. As I got older, I began listening to them again for pure nostalgia. The more I listened, the more they heightened my awareness of song crafting genius. From the complex arrangements to the shocking simplicity and earnestness in the lyrics, I discovered that Benny and Bjorn truly are prolific in their craft. Matched with Agneta and Frida's sweet and lucid voices, they all created some of the best music I'll ever know. And with two new songs for us to cherish...their legacy continues.

Their music timeless, beautiful, infectious.. we have been blessed with their presence in our lives for 50 years.. still doing wonderful things with theirs.. love from America . Goran Vukovic I’ve never been convinced about Bjorn’s contribution to the songwriting. Ok, he wrote the lyrics, really awful to begin with, but which did improve dramatically over time, but for me, as a guitarist, the structure of their songs was mostly keyboard-based. So, yeah, Benny is the guy for me. That said, I always loved Bjorn, but felt sorry for him, particularly in a live setting where he did little except look cool, add some backing vocals and pretend to play a variety of guitars - hardly ever even plugged in, never mind actually hear him play the darn thing! Still, I wish it had been me!!!
