I’m not sure. There is a part in the song that goes:”his toes to grown in size” it sound more fit for a child and not for a husband

"Standing on his toes to grown in size" refers to a person who is trying to look more intimidating than it actually is. The song depicts a husband that drives his wife crazy and she is tired of him

Yes, I agree. Actually, it would have to be between this and "Fernando", but they are such two different songs. "Fernando" is the "sound of ABBA" at their best, but this song is so unlike anything they'd ever done before. So mature and deep and moving. This song is ABBA's unheralded masterpiece.

I always thought Agnetha sang this. The words are actually 'gives me all his small philosophy' not 'of his small philosophy' which makes no sense. The melody is lovely. The vocals are reminiscent of the Munchkin singers in 'The Wizard of Oz'. This should have been a hit, but it was the 'B' side. I'm not sure if she talking about a husband. Could be a boyfriend she's tired of. One of the few times ABBA wandered into the dark side of love and relationships. Loved it on first hearing!
