The more you guys are showcasing the Abbey Road, the more I find this plugin incredible!

One of the videos I ever watched. Useful info, good singer, quite a good song, quietly spoken over a relaxing riff.

If it's high on CPU then just Print what you're using it on and remove the plug in. Would be no different if you had an outboard analog tape echo unit. You wouldn't leave it on during the entire mix. You would usually print it to avoid degrading the tape over time.

Billy, Thanks for the instruction on how to use this plugin. I have always wanted to purchase this plugin. It was a little different use of reverb than what I have done and used myself, it was interesting for how you used it in this video for that music. Again Thanks

looks like it might be a motion tab. They are pretty common on live music rigs, maybe some studios use them too

Is there a legit ergonomic reason his setup is oriented like that, speakers 3' above his head, monitor same?

so beautiful. hoping to one day see a Gold Star Studios reverb chamber something or other. get some Phil Spector style in that house!!
love the plates. I know this has nothing to do with the video, but when you played the vocal alone I noticed like a dozen tracks running...on just the vocal. could you mm please expound on the reason.

Music in the background is not annoying to me! Those that complain are not there yet. Background music is transcending your focal point, makes your mind wander creatively to access more music ideas! It's a distant place for creativity to flow through you, the producer, engineer, mixer or master!

The real question is.. why are his monitors pointed straight forward and why are they not tilted down.. I just feel like those MixCubes are SOOOOO high and pointed straight to nothing😭😭 maybe just moved them for the video?? But i really Want to know, I have Alpha 80s that are 50inches in the air (the tweeter sits maybe JUST as tall as where the mixcubes are) but they’re also pointed right me (sides of me at least/ears).. is this wrong for me to do? I appreciate this video either way!

Another solution is to buy a cheap $20 reverb tank, and use it as outboard gear. Run your guitar parts/vocals into it and back into your DAW & control the send and return.

Why is every engineer still using pro tools? What's wrong with studio one pro. 3.5.5? Just curious. Studio one is quicker,faster, and easier...with same results!
@re-recordingmixer6 жыл бұрын
Tyler Miroe - it’s just a tool. I disagree that studio one is quicker, faster and easier. For you it may be. But, I can cut and mix circles around just about any studio one user... but it’s not the point. Your argument is like asking why does one construction worker choose Craftsman over Stanley. It’s just simply preference in toolsets that get the job done.

I couldn't watch this video past 2 minutes, the bg music over his voice got really annoying really fast!
@re-recordingmixer6 жыл бұрын
I agree with this. There was no reason to keep bringing back in the intro of the song looped over and over again. Very repetitive and distracting. And since it was a piece that was a highlighted example early on, it drew focus away from his dialog, making me think I needed to be paying attention to the music example again.

the plug in is good but i can´t believe the engeener using in all the tracks this reverb that sound awfull, the client will not be happy with this mix, the worst to me is the guitar example (compared to great guitar producers out there, It's a very cheap tone in all sense of the word ¨cheap¨ means), but my overall complaint is about the complete lack of contrast between tracks if he does the mix this way, at least to my ears

to MR. Nando. Odd commentary... The customer/artist wants what they want...? Who gives rats hiney what anyone believes, thinks, or projects.

i dont now why... but after Trying it and hearing demos.. i do not like the sound of it.. it does not convey any feeling of space to me. Further.. my imagination when i picture sound i listen to.. brings me to a space sounding like unreal squashed and simply a place i do not want to be. Listening Through AKG 371 here. and compared to convolution impulses of Logic.. Fl Studio.. Lexicon.. Bricasti.. and Space Designer this plates just not sounding good. My Opinion
