Thanks for reminding me of that time Waves decided to charge me again for plugins I had already paid for. I immediately stopped using all Waves plugins and don't plan to go back.

If people never stole those plug ins the price for those plug ins would have never dropped to the price it is now. The cost for the plun ins now are way cheaper them before

Awesome, Bradley! Also I love your soulful, catchy songs and the way you're singin them👍 but I'm afraid I couldn't replicate this method on my MacBook: I'm already getting cpu overloads using just one instance of studio rack

Why do losers behind their couch always got something to say ? You don’t like the plug-in ? Go buy the thousands and thousands worth of gear he has then and stfu lmao , this is great for people who can’t afford the gear , and it also sounds great so don’t even go there . Shits very nice for a plugin version of the real gear he has . THATS THE POINT !

Those clean guitars at the beginning, they’re clean like when I told my son to clean his room and he goes it is? I guess we have different versions of clean ?

Love you man... You simply getting it dope amongst other utubers out there lately... Amazing outcome in 5 mins.. But I think the secret is the MATERIALs.... It all started quite descent even before you started,...... & the studioverse just spiced it up a tad...... Again. Amazing hype mate.... Cheers

Version 15 will be compatible with the current macOS version and the upcoming version (although the Mac silicon structure will remain unchanged). However, it will become incompatible with the new version of macOS in a year or two. This ownership policy is intriguing. I had assumed that once I obtained the Apple Silicon-compatible version of a plugin, it would be a long-lasting solution. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Until Waves adopts a different approach to customer perception, I will refrain from purchasing any Wave products.

So many great tips were never heard because of the poor interviewer. He literally interrupted so many explanations from CLA that this became unwatchable.

Stop using plug-ins for a while and concentrate on instrument setup/tuning/prep, mic choices, mic placement, acoustic environment, levels and balance. And then start using plug-ins. Put some headphones on, let the musician(s) play. Take a microphone and sit next to the instrument while placing and moving the mic. Check another mic. You’ll be surprised how much you can achieve here without even touching the console or DAW. SSL channel strip does not do much more than the vanilla stock EQ and dynamics other than applying a convolution sauce. Do some null testing and be surprised. Waves is a master in marketing and ‘inventing’ new user interfaces, hire famous producers around the same old algorithms and impulse responses.

Interesting how is about the focus you have with it. I just saw videos of engineers using torque to tune the snare or the kick or maybe give some other tune to the toms but always with the goal to fix or enhance something. They tell you dont over use the threshold and be careful. But the thing change when you are a producer, your goal is different, as Focus said here's not looking for the drums to have the same tone as the song, he's looking for the feeling. Different perspectives, and both are right, is just about the context and what your goal is

What an amazing breakdown of the history behind these legendary microphones. I have the sm7db (on which I bypass the built-in preamp because it extracts some detail from an already slightly muddy mic). I’ve been eyeballing the RE-20 and you finally allowed me the ease of mind to buy the oddly beautiful and ugly at the same time classic and its (overpriced) shock mount. I’ve been concerned about the shift to the mic being made in China, so time will tell if it holds up the same way. The original color looks a bit like a lightsaber! I’m stoked to get the classic in the black color for streaming. Thank you! What a gem this video comparison has been! You absolutely earned my sub, brother! Keep up the great content; you have a very calm and reassuring voice… I just hope mine doesn’t have too much sibilance 😅

Did you double the Compressors on the vocal bus, or did you just use a single compressor?
@brawlerbrawler65264 күн бұрын
Choosing the correct sound first is crucial. For example, If your kick is heavy allready, you dont need the pultec. It will only make your kick muddy and less defined.
