Love the milk cleanser, drmtlgy needleless, their sunscreen, and peptide night cream. I like Mad Hippie cream cleanser. Soothing and softening gentle goodness. You are spot on regarding the CeraVe healing ointment. I have been using this at night after applying my night serum and cream and it has made the biggest difference in keeping my eye lids and under eye area hydrated, which is so important to me at age 57.

I just use the Buffet with Copper Peptides and the Timeless Vitamin C together with their CoQ10 on alternating days. Every product doesn't have to be used every day to provide benefits. I also leave off my tretinoin 1 or 2 nights a week depending on how my skin is feeling. Sometimes I'll use a stronger acid on those nights.

I've never even thought of using the Neutrogena oil as a cleanser. I've used it on damp skin, out of the shower, as a body moisturizer for decades(?) 😬 I just use my peptides in the am, and vitamin C (in an antioxidant cocktail) in the PM. I have very not sensitive skin though, so I can use acids, retinols, and antioxidants in the pm with no issue.

About a year ago I started using The Ordinary's Buffet+Copper peptide serum and became a convert to the benefits of copper peptides. So I recently started using Niod's Copper Amino Isolate (Niod is also under Deiem's umbrella, like The Ordinary), which contains stronger, more effective copper peptides...and I LOVE it! Highly recommend it! (I got the idea after watching Penn.Smith.Skincare here on KZbin and highly recommend following her channel). OF COURSE, it's significantly more expensive that the Ordinary's product, but I recommend waiting for it to go on sale, which is what I did (you need to finish your Buffet bottle, anyway). Given your age, it might not make that big of a difference and the Ordinary's product might be fine--just keep Niod's product in mind for when you hit 35 (like me :-) Also, I didn't want to give up my Vitamin C, so I started using my copper peptide product in the evenings--there are no contraindications against using it along with a retinoid product (and I looked). I was told as long as the combination doesn't cause any irritation, it's fine; and like when I started using copper peptides, I never felt or saw any redness/irritation (I use it with Maelove's Moonlight serum, which contains retinaldehyde). I also added Niod's Superoxide Dismutase Mist to my AM and PM routine, to get those extra anti-oxidants. Thanks so much for all of your videos this past year, and I hope your move to Chicago is a happy one!

Could you do a skincare routine for a pregnant or nursing mother who can’t use retinol? I am used to using retinol every night but can’t when I am pregnant or nursing but I have really bad acne and have since high school. There are other ingredients they don’t recommend for pregnant ladies but I can’t remember what they are.

Lol I call the stratia liquid gold "socially acceptable earwax" because it reminded me of the gold color of earwax even though I think it gets that hue from the sea buckthorn, but had the similar ceramides formula of earwax to protect and rebuild the skin barrier.

Great video Abbey. I found Drmtlgy through you & had tried so many sunscreens until this. No need for me to ever change. I love the universal tinted or untinted for spring/summer & love the physical tinted for winter. I use their Needleless but not sure I'm noticing anything. I try not to use a million things. So excited to watch this. So what am I doing wrong with that oil. It doesn't work. So it's probably that I put it on dry skin and rub in and then wet. Maybe I need to use it wet. Or maybe it's the cloth? I'm stumped because when I use it like I use other lil cleansers it barely takes off my mascara. And that's all I use besides sunscreen 🤷

The Neutrogena oil (light sesame), is not fragrance free and I would never put it on my face. I got a reaction using it on my legs. Patch test. Actually, use something else.

I use both of those serums and love them both, but the Niod one is like water, very tricky to apply. it feels like you need so much product and the $90 bottle doesn’t last. The ordinary has better texture that you are able to use less product and get the same benefits.

Items from this video I purchased after following you this year - cerave healing ointment (this is the best deal out there & my favorite part of my pm routine!), drmtology needless, drmtology pm peptide cream, oh yes and the neutrogena oil - this is such a makeup removing hack - love love! I just bought the Cerave Healing Ountment for my feet, around my eyes and all over my lips. For about 2 months now, my lips have been feeling like I ate a big bowl of salty popcorn and have had to take 3 rounds of my Valtrex for cold sores. I usually use Aquafor, so I thought I’d try the Cerave to see if it helps my lips.

@@krissymc7085 I do have prescriptive ointment I’ve been using on the perimeter of my lips, I let that absorb and then put Cerave over it. Seem to be helping. My actual lips feel better, not great, it I’ve been going back and forth between Cerave and Aquafor, because I guess I didn’t notice a huge difference with just the Cerave. I do use it on my feet, hands and around my eyes at night after I let my body or eye moisturizer absorb. I think my hands and feet are less dry.

I purchased the needless serum, peptide nite cream and the eye cream. I really like them. I bought my close family members the vani cream moisturizer and cleanser. I’ve loved the cleanser for a long time and didn’t even know they put out a moisturizer until you mentioned it. I’m in LOVE as well. I’ve even got my 8 year old hooked on the moisturizer for her face after baths. Can’t start them young enough! I wish I had someone looking out for my skin in my earlier years!

I thought you weren’t even supposed to use fabric softener on microfiber because the oils clog the fibers which damages their ability to clean well so I have never even considered using with my oil cleanser. How often do you have to replace your microfiber cloths?

I can’t bear greasy sunscreen; some of mine are so I just bake my face with powder & dust it right off. I also enjoy the Canmake Mermaid sunscreen from Yesstyle, not greasy on me and I can put that around my eyes with no irritation!! 🤩👍
